Fierce Warrior

History:
Born to a devoted mother and father, Fierce Warrior grew up a single child under the knowledge that he was loved. This lasted until his foal years; his mother drowned in a rushing tide while gathering food for the family and his father, idolized and adored by Fierce, abandoned his son in his grief and despair. Fierce was left on the beach to fend for himself; he has never tried to find his father again and there are rumors that the old kimeti died of old age not too long ago.
The ocean is his home, or rather, the place where he feels the safest and most assured of who he is in spite of this. He is both afraid of and in love with the ocean. Struggling to find his place in the Swamp, Fierce instead throws himself into his tribe duties and taking care of his family rather than actually sitting down to consider what it is he truly wants out of life. He has spent the majority of his time in the Swamp protecting the borders of the Cres, hunting and gathering, and making shallow connections that result in many beloved children but no stronger bonds. Desperate to recreate the illusion of the family he lost, he is lonely at heart, but will never admit to it and is currently doing everything he can to pretend that he is just fine the way he is, even when he's not. Fierce would rather do anything than be introspective or consider his own feelings; he works himself into exhaustion just so he doesn't have to think anything more than basic, unassuming thoughts and if he does end up actually ruminating on something serious, he'll do anything he can to distract himself, however reckless or dangerous it is.
Fisheye gave him his start (and some children) in the Cres and it's the first and only place that Fierce feels he is making a difference. But even with that, he can't help but have the sense that he is an outsider looking in at a life that he has no control of, just going through the motions rather than actually considering what it is that he's doing. He is separated from his own sense of self at present, with little to no understanding of how to really define himself and his life that isn't just his daily tasks and duties.

Personality/themes:
He is a creature of few words but strong conviction - at least, he always thought so. More and more he is starting to realize just how little he knows and how uncertain he is of his future. Intelligent and innately good at heart, he still lacks both tact and basic kindness at times, not because he's a bad kin but because he often doesn't see the larger picture. He can be stoic and stubborn, as well as single-minded; traits he has easily passed on to some of his children, of which he has many. Fierce puts his family and his tribe first and foremost and himself secondary to everything. He is the sort who would quite willingly sacrifice himself without realizing just how badly this can affect others by doing so. He currently lacks the foresight to think clearly about himself and is hypocritical in the sense of expecting others to do what he preaches, but doesn't practice.
Fierce as a Legendary would be a path for himself, a choice of his own to make, a goal to follow so he can find a purpose in life. His ultimately kind heart is currently overshadowed by doubt and discontent with himself; if he had a chance to focus his attentions on something important, he could potentially be the sort of kin that other kin would look to for guidance or defense or, most of all, protection - whether from themselves or from others.
