Just when she thought her luck was turning around, turns out it was too large to accompany her back home. Just as well, she set it on fire anyway.

Well, things were looking up finally. SHe found a small twig with some attached berries to snack on.

Now things were more like it! A sizable branch made its way into her position and she ventured forward. Just a few more and she would return back to the festivities

Up and up, she found another small branch. There were benefits to be had to be assuming a giant wasp. Your perspective was more flexible for the most part.

When it rains, it really poors. DIsmayed by the contrast between her zeal and lukewarm real life findings, she rally lost her stride when she found a log rendered useless. But it was so tempting!

Fortune favors the brave! After encountering a caiman and napping pangolin, Doom stretched and let her muscles move. She added more wood to the pile.

Wet wood and Doom was poleaxed into how she could miserably fail and not even set ablaze the offending piece of s**t wood.

To add to her constant consternation, she kept on finding logs that were not suitable for her needs. She could already hear the juvenile snickers of "That's not what she said!"

Finally, her wretched journey was coming to an end. She found some small twigs that set her reprieve into motion. Coming to a full stop, she made a mental note of this foul, begotten area of the swamp. Trudging her findings along, she made her way back to the festival. There. She met her yearly quote of doing something nice.
