The acoustics under the waterfall weren't as good as they could be, and the roar of the waterfall drowned out competing sounds. But not everybody could make it up the cliffs, and a chorus was better together.
She trailed after the others in her dreamy way, the spray of water soaking her long hair and long tail, already tangled with less-than-decorative parts of the swamp from the journey. After this was all over, she was going to have a rest and a long groom.
Harmony stayed with her in its strange, watchful way, warning croaks drowned out by the rush of water.
When the bats rushed down, the air was so thick with them, Soul could hardly breath or see. The sounds rose in her ears. She didn't know what was in front of her or behind her, and there was no chance of her own voice being heard under the din. She did what she could. Bit something, stomped something....some of it felt batlike, some of it didn't, until she was crouched low on the floor between heaps of furred bodies.

Re: [ORP] Shadow Stalkers HotM: Runes-driven CYOA
The webbed and stick filled bonanza ended as quickly as it started. Hooves, horns, and apparently honecombs were part of the fray. And when the dust settled and various fluids were accounted for, there were some curious findings. Three spectral bats were captured by the crew and Albatross was able to slip a small round oval into her knapsack as she said her goodbyes.
"Thanks everyone for a fine hunt. Let's revisiting in two months as I cook up more adventures. I have some areas I'm scouting. Likewise, if you want company on a hunt, call me in. My furbies and I are always down for a good time."
((OOC: Thank you all for participating in the tribe's first ORP. I can't wait to start planning the next one. Feel free to offer feedback or suggestions. Thank you.
Winners, post your preference list. If you like to be skipped and the prize re-rolled, let me know. Again, thanks for playing with Albatross

These mayhem causing cuties were colored by Corn. Hopefully the lunar moths will have better luck migrating now.
