
Still, she was glad to be back. She'd come across one of her little gardens of sorts early last week and was pleased to see that the plants were thriving. They'd be ready to harvest soon within another moon or so. Her second patch of plants was doing just as well as the first, giving her a sense of a job well done. She'd tended to them as seedlings and as young plants, making sure they were strong and healthy as they grew, and now the fruits of her labor were obvious. She'd have a great haul of leaves, flowers, stems, and roots this fall to being working on stockpiling her healing supplies.
But for now she still had time to rest. There were a few other places she'd planted different flowers and herbs and she still had to make her way to visit them and check in on how they were doing, but her going was leisured. She was in no rush. The winter time was usually when she was the least busy in terms of taking care of plants, but it seemed the middle of the summer was another lull in activity. Perfect for traveling, it seemed!
