Being a kin who was so devout in her tarot reading and, well, divination, she always preferred having a fresh set of tools available to her. The weather wasn't entirely kind to them, though, as bones rot and wood curls after time, so seeing the snows melt and the swamp starting to come to life again during the spring renewal meant that she could start 'sniffing' around the perfect specimen to refill her stores.
It also meant that she would bring Flow with her, she liked to believe that he was very good luck in picking the pieces.
"Any luck?" She murmured when he returned to her little personal bubble, as she looked over a small, little ribcage of what could have been a mouse, once.

I was Nerpin; Now I'm Wander.
I will answer both!
The rains have ceased, and we have been graced with another beautiful day.
But you are not here to see it.

Re: [PRP] A new cycle [Divination + Flow of Time]
[imgright]http://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/image ... uncert.png[/imgright] Spring had sprung, and that meant an annual scavenge..!
For what? For Div's bits of this and that. Flow didn't always understand the finer nuances of Divination's readings, but like any good, devoted buck..? He took an interest in what she liked and what brought her joy. And if he could do nothing else for her, it would be to help her get only the best and most unique things that would do food for her readings.
There were the normal, damp smells of this time of year, of fresh loam, of melting snow, of life renewed. But there came a warmth on the wind, and the purple, starry lad quickly found himself sniff-sniff-sniffing out the heady, spicy aroma. It wasn't something he'd encountered before. Then again? It wasn't often that he and Divination came by this way. It was a new area, prime and ripe for the picking! And pick he did, once he found the mottled, thick piece of bark that had dislodged itself from an equally splendid tree. He'd gotten distracted, sniffing and cautiously rubbing the bottom of his cheek against the wood, testing...
...testing...
...and when nothing out of the ordinary happened, he bent his head to pick up the piece that looked to best fit Div's need, his ears and expression relaxed. Content. And then...surprised? Why, the wood tasted spicy! Not hot, necessarily, but it did give a sensation that was difficult at best to describe. And so? When he came back to Div, ears perked to catch her greeting, he set the piece of wood at the doe's hooves and gently nudged it toward her. It was unbent thus far, saved from the ravages of a wet spring from curling too fast. His dark eyes were alight in joy at what he'd found for her, a service of value to the doe he was absolutely, irrevocably smitten over.
"I believe so. Smell it. Taste it." Though he kept his own tone low and almost crooning, there were little electric currents of excitement that he couldn't get rid of. Would she like it? She rarely failed to. "It's different than any other wood I've come across."
