RP: Life in full color is a curious kin. One fateful morning, while wandering through the forest, he stumbled upon a path he had never seen before, a trail made entirely of soft, velvety moss and dotted with colorful wildflowers.

Intrigued, Life began to follow the bunny trail. As he walked, he felt an odd sensation wash over him, a shimmering glow enveloping his body. In a flash, he was no longer the majestic buck he had always known himself to be, he had transformed into a small, fluffy bunny rabbit. With twitching ears and a tiny nose, Life blinked in disbelief, but soon enough, he felt an exhilarating thrill. He was now free to bounce and hop along the enchanting trail.

The forest, once seen from the height of his kin form, was an entirely new world. The oversized blades of grass swayed by his delicate hops felt huge from this perspective. Everything around him appeared brighter and more vibrant. The scent of wildflowers filled the air as he commenced his journey down the bunny trail, his little heart racing with excitement.

As Life hopped joyfully, he suddenly noticed a dark shadow overhead. A crow perched ominously on a low hanging branch, its beady eyes locked onto him. Panic surged through his tiny bunny body. With quick reflexes, he scurried off the trail and found refuge beneath a bush, the leaves rustling gently around him as he crouched low, heart thumping.

The crow circled overhead, cawing impatiently, but Life remained still and quiet, camouflaged. After what felt like an eternity, the crow, distracted by the movement of a nearby squirrel, finally flew away, leaving Life to breathe a sigh of relieving. He peeked from his hiding spot, ensuring the coast was clear before darting back onto the bunny trail.

With newfound determination, Life sprung into action and hopped away, beautiful freedom coursing through him. Each bound felt effortless, and the world flowed seamlessly around him. He leaped from clump to clump, dodging everything that had once loomed large and intimidating. Mirthful giggles bubbled in his throat as he reveled in the serendipity of the moment, a life full of spontaneity and fun.

But the adventure of hopping, small as he now was, did come with its challenges. As he focused on the charming dandelions dancing in the breeze, he stumbled over a rather large rock that had audaciously made its home in the middle of the path.

“Ah, dang.” he muttered under his breath, tucking his front paws beneath him. He felt a wave of embarrassment wash over him. “I’m still getting used to bouncing.” After a moment of collecting himself and shaking off the dust, he stood up on his little legs and laughed at the inconvenience, brushing it aside like seeds floating on a gentle wind.

As he jumped along the trail, the sun began to dip below the horizon, painting the sky in hues of orange and pink. Life felt a strange sense wash over him, wrapped in the beauty of the moment, even as he adjusted to his new form. Thoughts of his old self fluttered like the leaves around him, but he was learning to appreciate the world through a different lens.

At the end of the bunny trail, a familiar glow began to surround him. He closed his eyes, preparing for the transformation, wondering what he might become this time. When the light finally receded, he opened his eyes to find himself back in his kin form, standing proudly where he had begun.

Life looked back at the bunny trail, a smile spreading across his face. He had ventured into the unknown, gained new perspectives, and experienced the thrill of bouncing through life with joy and purpose. He realized that while he thrived as a deer, learning to hop along the trail like a rabbit had enriched his understanding of the forest and of himself.

This was infinitely worse than being a hummingbird. Bite had clearly misheard the description of the experience. He was not in fact a crow hunting rabbits. He was the cursed rabbit. Well, better get this over with quickly. He did not like being this low to the ground and this exposed. He darted off into the trail with the other rabbits (kin?) alongside himself. One in particular he already knew he didn't like as a quick glance at each other and the other put on a burst of speed. Bite... well he would have growled but he's not entirely sure that that's what that noise really was. He raced after, overcoming his competitor and launching a quick kick of dirt into the other rabbits face. It wasn't a race, but Bite wouldn't let a slight like that pass unchallenged.

He turned off to follow a split in the trail and that's where he made his first mistake. It took him to a frozen over stream and a brand spankin new level of hell. His paws made quick and easy work of snow and dirt but ice? Might as well have hooves again. Actually hooves would be better, at least he could kick into the ice and gouge his way across. Here he slipped. And slid. And slipped again. It felt like he wasn't moving at all. Just embarrassing himself over and over and over again. After entirely too long, he managed to reach the other side and dug his little claws into the frozen dirt, pulling himself from the ice and seething with fury.

The ground cover wasn't nearly so thick over here and he could see the end. One last push and he'd be free of this torment. It wasn't too be though as he ran, a dark shadow passed overhead. He ignored it the first time. The second time it swooped by larger and he could feel the gust of wing beats above him. Bite looked up and spotted the crow as it wheeled and dove for a third time. He leapt into the air to meet it, twisting his body and kicking with all his might at the predator coming in for the kill. It was enough to break the crow's dive and startle it back into the air. Bite landed and ran. Faster than he had the entire challenge. He ran straight for the finish line and raced through back into his own flesh.

RP: I Will Remember You wasn't exactly sure she was getting the hang of this at first, she was very weakly skipping? This wasn't hoping, giving it a few more tries she felt like she was finally getting the hang of it when she tripped on a rock. Giving it another go she realized that her stomach was starting to make some of it's hungry sounds so she had to call it quits and get a snack. Ready to go after eating she began her hoping journey again, only to find a lovely field and found herself tired from her efforts. It was nap time. Waking up some time later she began going again with renewed speed, only to have some ducklings block her path so she had to stop again.

RP: Well, this was new! Made of Stardust was small, lacking horns, and had some pretty large, fluffy feet! His nose twitched as he looked down the path that he had to hop and decided that there was no time like the present to get going! Unfortunately, his back legs were much stronger than he thought they would be, so his first few bounces saw him over-shooting his target landing area. But after a few hops he got his power under control and he went along the trail much more smoothly.

Some fresh grass caught his attention as he went along and he couldn't help but pull over to sample some. He didn't eat much vegetation as a kin, so why not try it now when he had the teeth and the palate for it? As he was munching on the grass, a shadow above him made him freeze. It was strange being so small that you had to think of other animals as potential threats! He bounded into the thicker trees beside the trail and waited for the bird to fly off before heading back to the trail.

The grass, however, called to him again. One more bite wouldn't hurt...until he saw another rabbit racing down the trail! He forgot about his snack as he hopped to catch up, the two going neck and neck towards the end, but a misstep (or hop) from his competitor had him in the lead! Stardust gave a little whoop as he hopped down the last few feet of trail, leaving the strange place as a kin once more. He gave a few experimental hops in his normal form but the feeling just wasn't the same.

He was a bunny. He wriggled his nose as he thought about the implications of this. This was half a dozen times, by his count, that he had been transformed into either a tiny version of himself or into a small creature. Just this winter market alone he'd been changed three times. Story found that a bunny body did not allow him to puff out his chest in a big breath and let out the deep, creaking, sigh that he desperately wished he could in this moment.

"Oh, well," he thought to himself. He didn't fully understand the nervous energy that seemed to fill his every thought, but - He was very small.

Story took one step onto the trail, and only one step, when he was joined by another rabbit. He looked at his new companion and greeted it with a careful "hello." The other rabbit did not respond(maybe he was the only talking bunny on this particular journey) but it didn't leave, either. The companionship made for a quiet, but very pleasant, hop along either way and he was glad of the company.

Forward momentum felt good, Story could tell he was definitely headed in the right direction, when a shadow passed overhead and his bunny friend darted off.

"Hmm," he mused. It was not the deep wooden voice he was used to, and so he made a note not to do that again. "Good thinking."

He, too, darted off towards the side of the trail and managed to tuck himself away into the base of a root system before the crow could get him. What a relief, but he was alone again. That was most decidedly less of a relief.

After some time, and a lot of checking for safety, Story was on his way again. He moved effortlessly down the trail and was pleased with how quickly time and distance were passing. It would be no time at all before he was out of here and back into his larger, proper, slower form. Movement caught his attention as he was daydreaming about being back in how own body and he spared a glance(he couldn't help it.)

Another rabbit!

Story was quick to note, however, that this rabbit did not want to be his friend. This rabbit was approaching the trail like a race. Never before in his life had the buck bunny that was Story been in a race. Not willingly and not against another willing animal, that was for sure. He was thus very unsure how to proceed. Other than running after the other rabbit and doing his best to match pace. They ran like that some time until his rival, if that was the word for it, hopped too high and too hard and injured itself.

Story tried to turn his head back to shout condolences as he ran, but rabbit necks were not the same as kimeti necks and Story found the movement acutely harder to pull off as a bunny. It was a mistake under any circumstance, as it turned out, because it also meant he wasn't paying attention to the path ahead and he tripped on something heavy and jagged.

A rock.

He made another mental note to never let his neighbor and friend, Stone Garden, hear of this.

The trip and subsequent tumble did mean he was forced to stop, however once he was done checking his feet for any lasting damage Story was able to see that he had one more quick little hop to make and he would be done. He would be back in his own body.

Now that was the biggest relief of all.
