[B] Here We Go Again... (Death of a Star x ???)

Tidal Terror found it easier to be a turtle during this time of year. Her totoma pelt could get so hot in the swamp's humidity, even after all the time she spent away from the mountains. As a turtle, she didn't have to worry about fur so much.
But she was rather small, and rather slow when she wasn't swimming.
So when it came time that inevitably she felt the need to bless a kin, she would have to make the judgment call of either haste or personal comfort.
Since the weather didn't seem threatening so far, she opted to take it slow.
And so, eventually, a tortoise appeared. It was not at all concerned about there being a kin around, and almost seemed to be bee-lining towards him in a very tortoise-like (read: slow) way.

He almost didn't notice the tortoise. He wasn't really looking on the right level to notice it, in his defense. The last time he'd sought out a legendary they had been a normal kin. Well, normal in shap, anyways. So, he really couldn't be blamed for not noticing at first. It wasn't until a flash of red caught his eye that he finally saw it.
Typically there wasn't much cause to worry about a tortoise. But the glowing eyes was a little off putting. And it did seem to be walking with quite a purpose. Towards him. For some reason it felt rude to just stand in its way. So, he stepped aside. Which felt very silly.

The buck stepped aside. Respectful! She liked this one already.
Once she made it over at a turtle's pace, she nodded in satisfaction.
Then she became a totoma.
To spend anymore time as a tortoise would delay things too long. The buck likely had places to be.
"Hail and well-met, traveler!" she greeted. "What can I do for you?" Tidal Terror asked as if she hadn't just transformed from a small creature into a large kin.

Well...
The, uh....the last one hadn't done that. Death of a Star stood, mouth only slightly agape, and stared at the totoma that was now before him. He at least managed to collect himself quickly, though it took a few stumbling words to get there.
"Oh. I, uh. Well, you see- I was...Ahem. I was looking to bless my future children. If you would be willing..." His delivery was a little stiff, but at least he got there eventually. And very quickly he added on, "Also, I don't have an offering. But if you need something done, I uh....could help. With that..."

She let out a hearty chuckle.
The father-to-be seemed rather adaptable, though not quite able to hide his shock. There was some fun in springing her transformations on kin, she had to admit that. But still... She did not mean any harm.
He did appear to realize what she was, so he knew the ways of things, it seemed.
"Ah, wanting to help. That's a good value to have! I don't ask for much, though. Never really did. You did well enough moving out of a turtle's way," Tidal Terror said with a nod.
"Still! I would like to meet who I'm blessing before I do it. I'm Tidal Terror. And yourself? Why are you looking for a blessing on this fine day?"

The relief was visible on his face when this legendary seemed content with the simple act of moving out of the way. And then it was a little less visible when she started to ask for something more. But! Just introducing himself? That was easy enough. "Oh. I'm Death of a Star. Very nice to meet you." The other question, while easy to answer was also incredibly awkward. "And uh, well. There's a doe. And she's expecting kids. That are mine. So. You know....I'm just trying to be responsible and help in whatever way I can.
