[G] Stoking the Fire (Brambleblind x Enchantress x Bloody War Paint) Part 2

Post by SerinaNight »

"I'm fine~" Enchantress cooed in response to the other doe's concerns, she did her best to wiggle away from the feeling of Brambleblind's nosing and checking over her, before eventually headbutting the other doe. She laughed when she felt their horns click together, guess she had good aim! "Seriously, I'm fine! Go~" Not feeling the presence of the other kin depart she repeated herself with a lilt. "Go~" With Brambleblind finally heading away, Enchantress laughed with a playful "Just this once~" in response to the other doe's parting comment. Once she was sure Brambleblind had left she nestled into the grass and began to rub things gently with her nose now and again, basking in the sunlight, something she was enjoying more than she had anticipated. She had been expecting to have to resist her urge to run around more, but this was surprisingly fun as is. Perhaps because they had been underground so long? A pleasant surprise either way.

The buck's ears shot in Brambleblind's direction as she approached, even before he himself turned to face her. Tail swishing happily the buck started to move in her direction but also felt himself pull back a bit, remembering her smell and the look in her eyes when their noses had almost meet. Normally he would have grumbled about Enchantress' tricks but he wasn't exactly upset...? Almost trotting in place for a moment, leg moving back and forth unsure of where to go the buck eventually settled on staying place, as he tried to keep his eyes on their objective, and not the doe next to him... a difficult task apparently, as he found his eyes drawn to her several times without him noticing. As he once again chastised himself, he heard her call his name. Turning happily, a heat rising in his face the buck nearly tripped over himself in panic when Brambleblind's next words left her lips. Rushing over, fur raised and ears pulled back, the buck quickly began to examine the doe, nosing and checking her for anything that might be wrong. He keep looking at her face, than checking her again, his back and forth motions clearly trying to ask what was wrong.

Enchantress, having heard this exclamation, nearly snorted out loud. It took all her willpower to push the noise back down, and she found herself burying her face in her leg joint to try and muffle the laughter threatening to erupt. Ah, this was so much better than she thought! Also, they really needed the help and she wasn't going to ruin her own plan, especially with the other things she was missing out on by sitting. So. Still. Ugh she was going to have to find Sunlit Rock when they got back because she needed to talk about this with someone! The doe muffled more snickers, luckily she was far enough away they wouldn't near the small sounds, because this was almost too much.
