Everything had happened rather quickly, but Dawn simply hadn't been able to help herself. Supreme was, well, supremely stunning. She'd wanted to know him, and she had, and now? Now she was traipsing through the swamp looking for someone that could give the new life growing inside her a bright future.
Whatever came next, the babes would be blessed. Bright and beautiful and cared for.

Stalker Owl wasn't sure exactly what the tug was when it came to this sort of thing, but there he was again, out in the woods with the inclination to go for a quiet wander when he chanced upon a lone doe, herself out for a stroll.
Her coat was neutral, and in some ways, not dissimilar to his. He didn't think she was a relative, but since joining up with King he hadn't kept much track of his family. This was in stark contrast to the monumental task of keeping track of the fairy tribe members, which seemed to increase exponentially every season.
Stalker Owl sniffed, not over-liking interaction, but supposing he ought to say something.
He strolled out very casually in front of Dawn's path, stretched with all of his paws, and then hopped up on a rock, levelling her with an unusual stare.
"Lost?" the owlcat asked.

Re: [B] New light [Dawn's First Breath & Stalker Owl]
Brows arched at the horned owlcat that wandered out into the path before her and she slowed, watching as they hopped up on a rock and settled, watching her in turn. It was clear, when they spoke, that she'd found who she'd been looking for.
"You could say, in a manner of speaking." Not lost in a literal sense, but metaphorical, yes. The doe let out a low chuckle, head shaking subtly.
"I've found myself in a...delicate way." It wasn't obvious, not yet. Dawn was still a nimble, spindly thing, she could feel it, all the same. "You could give them a blessing, couldn't you?" Her head tilted with her question, imploring. "My babies?"

Stalker puffed up, a little embarrassed.
"Oh. Yes. Let's see." He cleared his throat, hopping down to have a discreet look. That sort of matter. Well, he didn't think she was one of theirs, so he didn't have to record it, anyway. Nearby there was a spray of poppies, their colors bright like a warning color.
He regarded the doe, their similarities again striking him, as if they were a strange mirror of each other.
"May you and them be protected. To you and them: Be cunning. Be undistracted. Set traps for your enemies. Don't become trapped yourself."
The blessing done, the owlcat offered, "And if you like, there is a tribe close by that enjoys feasting with guests, and especially guests with a gift in flowercrafting, if you stay for the evening."

Re: [B] New light [Dawn's First Breath & Stalker Owl]
She stilled as he approached, standing as tall as her dainty frame allowed her, head held high. Petite and graceful. Waiting patiently for him to look her over, consider.
The blessing he bestowed had her smiling, pleased. And she dipped her head in a grateful nod. "Thank you, and that does sound very nice." Perhaps Supreme would like to pay the tribe in question a visit, or perhaps not. She'd ask.
"Perhaps we'll see you later." For now, she had a handsome unicorn to get back to.
