[b]Unexpected (Tastes Lightning & Guardian)

There were many unexpected things happening in the swamp. Things the lightning hadn't told him. Such as... he'd met Eat... they were now expecting kids...

and now, as he stared down at a pale lizard staring up at him with unnerving eyes, he lamented the fact the lightning hadn't prepared him for this, either.

"I didn't expect to find a little lizard..." he mused aloud as the marine iguana looked up at him, calmly and patiently. With a sigh he found himself settling on the ground to rest, surprised when the pale lizard settled close. "You're a sweet little thing aren't you?" he gave a smile, looking at it a moment, then off to the distance. "I hope my kids are as sweet as you..." there was a feeling in him, one he couldn't quite find the words for. There was much he couldn't find the words for, so much was left unsaid and that was alright with him...and yet... "...and I hope that unlike me, they're always able to find the words they need to express what it is they're trying to say."

He felt the lizards tail brush along him and he looked down feeling a little more at ease, wondering at the lizards intent look on him, not realizing the marine iguana was really a legendary, and that said legendary was blessing him with that action, while thinking 'May the MotherFather help your children find their words and their way, and stay sweet and kind while doing so'.

"Maybe the lightning sent me in the right direction after all. I feel better after spending a little time around you and talking to you little lizard." he eased to his hooves once his little visitor scrambled off, a smile on his face. He wasn't sure what had passed, but he felt ready to head back none the less.
