[Solo] Holesome (Echo x Gulp)

It wasn't too often that Echo spent the night on the Cres, but sometimes, the doe needed space.

Space away from her usual stomping grounds. Space where she could be near others, but given respectful distance without causing any hurt feelings. Space where she could lay herself down, close her eyes, and not have to worry about being woken up by someone slapping dirt in her face.

To be entirely accurate, it hadn't been dirt kicked over her this time. No, this morning, it had been sand. And to be fair to the shuppies around her, she'd taken distance from where most of the kin slept, onto a rather solitary boulder more or less out of the way of anything except sand.

Sand, however, was exactly what the shuppies liked to dig in. And a shuppy it was before her as she sputtered and shook herself awake, working on widening a hole already deep enough to trap a kin inside.
