Welcome to the Matope RL Commission Subforum. This forum should contain all the information required to purchase Matope kin and pets with real money.

Individual Colorist Portfolios can be found as threads in this forum. From there, you can see what kind of requests they can take on, what sort of slots they have open, and exactly how to contact them to make your order.

Semi-Custom and Custom Kin Information

KIN

Basic, unedited, semi-custom adult: 15.00
Basic, unedited, semi-custom, growing: 20.00
Basic, unedited, full custom, adult: 25.00
Edited, semi-custom adult: 35.00 base price
Edited, custom adult: 50.00 base price
Edited, growing kin: 1.5x base price

The maximum price of any single edited kin is $75.

ADD-ON EDITS

If you have an unedited kin to whom you'd like to add edits, this is now an option via RLC!

please note that some edits may not be viable via this option. body edits such as butch/anti-butch, for instance, might be too difficult to achieve depending on markings

Semi-custom edit add-ons: 15.00 + edit costs
Custom edit add-ons: 20.00 + edit costs

EDITED SEMI TIERS

we are now going to be offering some tiers for edited semi-customs!

For 40.00 : Includes simple, mostly default edits that add up to roughly $5
For 45.00 : Includes one custom edit, CC, + defaults, all adding to roughly $10
For 55.00 : Includes primarily custom edits, CC, all adding to roughly $20.

EDITS

Extra leg hair/chest hair/tail hair: 1.50 each
Default Hair (mane, tuft, bangs, see examples): 3.00
Custom Hair (created from scratch): 6.00+
Edited back spines: 3.00
Butch / Antibutch / Chubby: 3.00 if already existing, 6.00+ for new edits.
Kimeti/Kiokote Reshaped shoulder scale: 5.00
Different tail: 6.00+
Horn edits of any kind: 6.00+
Small accessory (feather, flower, shell, etc.): 5.00+

Note: Should an edit be particularly complicated, it may cost more.
As such, it's always wise to contact a colorist for a quote.

You cannot buy wing edits or Legendary Kin.

If your request is accepted, you will be notified via PM, or DM and we will begin work on your custom as soon as possible. When it is done you will receive a watermarked image of your Kin for your approval, and once you approve, you should submit payment immediately. When payment is received you will receive your non-watermarked Kin to be posted in the official Certing Thread.

Breeding Information

The base cost is $36 for growing, and $24 for adult only.
For this price, you get:

2 babies / 1 baby if both parents are yours
a 50% chance of a third baby
a 10% chance that third baby is twins.
You cannot claim a Legendary sack  in RL breedings
You can claim an RP baby, if you have completed RP between the pair.

Additional babies will cost $8 each,
and adding a pair of twins [only one per breeding] will be $12.
When adding twins, colorists will roll to determine if they are same sex or alternate sex; for $2 you can choose.

The most babies there can be in any given RL breeding is 5.
This means you could buy up to three additional sacks [four if both parents are yours] in order to guarantee that there will be the maximum in a breeding.
This must be decided before we roll for extra sacks!!

If you want to determine the gender of any the babies, that'll be $1 each.

Edit Charges

Depending on the level of editing, an extra $5-25 total will be added.

If you want to include any edited throwbacks, they'll be $5 each;
please note that this does not guarantee that any specific edits from these throwbacks will be included, it only gives the possibility.
Without this fee, only colors will be used from throwback kin.

Payment

It doesn't matter if one person pays it all, or if it is split down the middle, but both parties must send approval to determine consent.

Disclaimers

PLEASE NOTE: There is no 'customing' of babies at Matope.
Whether you do an adult-only breeding OR a growing one, what you see is what you get.

Unless the quality is poor - something that should not happen with our colorists - no changes will be made to the finished work. If you'd like to have 'custom babies' you can order the offspring each as individual full customs, based around parent appearances, at full custom price.

Large Pets: badger, boar, caiman, cave worm, crane, crawfish, dragonfly, eaglehound, giant slug, giant moth, giant spider, giant wasp, lemur, lion, lynx, mantis, otter, owlcat, pangolin, ramcat, rox, turtle, wolf

all spectral or rare pets qualify for the "large" price.

EDIT EXAMPLES
Our default edits can be found in this thread. You can request a custom version of an edit we have a default of - for example, a unique leg fluff - but using a default will guarantee a lower price. You can also request an edit not on this list - for example, eye and expression edits, extra scales, feathers, or fins - but the pricing of these are not standardized, and up to the individual colorist.

Please note that all of the kin depicted already have owners, and unless an edit is listed as a default or openly donated in the edit donation thread, you cannot have these exact edits.
