Halfway There was always a wanderer, a nomad who saw everywhere and no where as her home. Having a permanent residence never really felt right for the acha doe. She could stand to linger for a season, but then she'd find herself needing to leave for familiar but distant lands eventually.
It made having relationships with non-likeminded kin hard but somehow, she managed to make it work with Thief. Their encounters were always playful but tender, though it seems that it's only now, after so long, that it bore fruit. She was excited and nervous but she didn't want to let the zikwa know just by telling him.
She wanted to make it memorable. Problem is, she had no idea how.
@Ruriska (thank you for helping ;w;)

Re: [B] How to Break the News (Halfway There x ???)
[imgleft]https://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/imag ... ncert3.png[/imgleft] Watch Me was on the wing, flitting through the trees, seeking out his next parent-to-be. He’d had a little chat with the MotherFather that morning, informing her how disappointed he was that his last few blessings had been far less Acha flavoured than he would have liked.
He liked to think the crane he’d cornered and been talking to had carried his concerns and so when he’d felt the call, he had sped off to do Her bidding, since it was only fair.
And lo and behold, the kin he found was indeed an Acha!
A remarkably lovely looking one with stunningly bold markings.
He swooped down, transformed mid-air and landed neatly before her with a proud ‘Ta-da!’.
“I am here,” he declared, head lifted proudly, “to bless you!”

Halfway was still ruminating her options when a voice drew attention. The acha turned and gave a little leap in surprise when the bird transformed right in front of her. The startled hop quickly shifted into a giddy jig when it became apparent that "A blessing? A blessing! Oh how marvelous and lovely! Thank you, thank you!"
This was perfect!
"Your arrival is impeccably timed!" She spoke with utter delight. "It would be my and my family's honor to receive."

Her response to his arrival was just what he’d wanted (and expected). Of course it would be an honour! Watch Me looked extremely satisfied as he lifted his head, nodding grandly at her.
“But of course! I am here under the guidance of the Motherfather.” And oh how wonderful She was for sending him to an Acha.
“In her name, I shall bless you and your children! May they be as bold and beautiful as their mother,” he winked, “and know a life of happiness, loved by all they meet!”
@HuniPi wah sorry for the wait!
