▐▐ PERSONALITY>> Bloodlust's sanity is up for debate, despite his supportive and pleasant family life, as the buck grew he more and more seemed predisposed to strange actions and occasionally violent responses to others. In the end he ended up striking out on his own and frankly most were better off without him. He is smug, rude and seems to show little concern for those he irritates. His eaglehound is his only stalwart companion, as unstable as her master.

She was at the lead, her first time being allowed to lead a hunting party, and it was less than straightforward, the weather was rough, driving rain that made it hard to see, chill winds as a storm rolled in. It caught them unawares and made it all too easy for hostiles to creep up on them. They had harvested a great deal and she had been proud to have found one of the rare medicinal herbs desperately needed back home.

When they were attacked she kept it tightly clenched in her teeth as she fought off their assailants with her brothers and sisters, because a hunter was what she was and the task was a matter of pride, come storm or battle. The numbers were too high though, one by one the others fell until she was left standing against the last. She was exhausted, she wasn’t a warrior and it looked like she too would fall.

It was the lightning that struck the tree by them, killing the other that saved her and left her lone survivor, that earned her her name.

Still, trying adventures seem to find her on their own and she is often pressed into service to rescue lost lambs or to bring down an over ambitious climber. The female Totoma took the flank, making sure nobody fell behind or got scattered in the pitch black.

They got out of the cave without losing a Totoma. Their reliance and trust in each other was what had kept them so calm.

▐▐ NAMING DREAM>>This rambunctious young buck was practically born fighting, but what he became notorious for over his youth was his penchant for almost inordinately grand inclinations. In the stark practicality of totoma society, there was always something a little grand about him and over the top. In many ways he seemed to combine the stern determination of his sire with the love of colour his dam had always possessed. Born naturally dark furred he made up for what he lacked as he grew to adulthood, quickly becoming known for his brilliantly colourful armour and boisterous, confident attitude.

His first excursion into the world was with a band of scouts trailing the perimeter, a scuffle duly ensued with a rival band of totoma.

The rainbow buck charged in with his fellows and whether it was natural skill, absolute luck or some uncanny combination of both, the more experienced assailants, known to the clan as trouble with a capital T were sent packing.

After that they dubbed him Magnificent with just a smidge of gentle mockery.

He took on the title proudly with the intent to remove all doubt.

It had been a miracle that she had not died from the fall and even more of a miracle that she managed somehow to survive. There was always a cold and fixated intensity in her, something not quite right which unnerved her peers. No one was very certain where she was born and when she ultimately left to make the long trip to the swamp they were almost relieved to see her go.

She survived as she was so wont to do, clinging to life with the kind of ferocity learned only on the icy edge of starvation and death. She wore her name with the same grim resolution she wore everything, accepting the title as a statement of what she had endured and a warning for the lambs not to become too much like her.

▐▐ PERSONALITY>> A storyteller at heart, Speaking Jellyfish likes to have a captive audience. The only problem is that her stories are always a word salad without direction or plot. Some kin listen just out of sheer confusions at what she is even speaking about while others beat a hasty retreat. The only story she tells with any semblance of rhyme or reason is the story which is tied to her namesake about the jellyfish which spoke to her in her dreams and told her to seek out a "great water" where she would find some of the answers she seeks in her life. She rarely gets angry and even in the face of open derision continues to tell her slightly mad stories to all and sundry.
