Curiosity killed the cat, but satisfaction brought it back.

Wide-eyed with interest and optimism for hunting down the mysteries of the swamp, Merry was struck by a lighter form of the Ache when she was very young. She traveled long across the desert as a filly, together with a loosely knit herd of acha in order to reach the swamp. While perhaps not quite aware she could never go back at the time, Merry isn't sure she regrets her decision- frankly, she's more interested in seeing other parts of the world than she is in going back to the desert. And there sure is a lot to see around Matope.

She considers herself an artist, like most acha. A storyteller who spins tales of horror, of fascination, of life and woe. Merry wants to see it all, and she wants to be able to tell it all to those who do not have the luxury of seeing. If it means sacrificing or being hurt in the name of knowledge, then so be it- she will be that scapegoat. She will take on that burden, in the name of knowing more.

But so too is it fun to think up theories and weave webs in order to catch truths that are more elusive to her, which has been a bit of an issue in the past when they turn out to be blatantly false...

As a Legendary, Merry would be even more encouraged to never slow down in her investigations. Moreso than ever, as a part of those mysteries of the swamp she has long been so intrigued by, she would feel... well, intrigued! Invested in swamp-y things! Kind of a carrot on a stick type kin we're working with here. She would offer her blessings on the surface for knowledge, but deeper- for curiosity and drive. After all, mysteries die if no one is willing to seek out the truth- and underneath those mysteries are only more mysteries.
