Sleepy Time really would have preferred to stay in the comfort (and quiet) of the little hollowed out tree where he spent most of his time these days (napping); but he'd dragged himself out because apparently socializing was good for you or something something or other. He dragged with him a pile of berries on a stained leaf.

"Here," he said, voice muffled through the leaf stem. "Want some? They're kinda sour."

"Anyone who says not much grows in winter is either a liar or they don't know a thing about farming," Hope-Still explained. "Plenty of veggies will take root, if you give 'em a chance. Nothing delicate, mind you. And well, beets, they're kinda my thing. A hardy crop." He shrugged, a little bashfully. "Ain't nowhere as good as my pa when it comes to growing but I reckon my little farms producing well." His ears perked. "Hang on, check these out!"

The large Kimeti stepped back to grab hold of the bark sheet he'd dragged all the way over. He pulled it in front of the Zikwa's and then stood back proudly. Three beets, one enormous and fresh. Another cut in half and sprinkled with salt. One roasted with a sprig of rosemary. "I always bring a snack but I think it's better off going to you, fellas." He paused, eyeing the four. "Or ma'ams, sorry. Not spent much time round your kind, I haven't got the knack for tellin' yet."

He gestured to the beetroots, happy to share the fruits of his labour. "Well then, dig in!

"Oh, what wondrously strange looking fish," the colorful doe gushed as she gazed down at the little pool of water the long nosed fish were bobbing around within. "I've never seen anything like them before." Which was saying a lot, considering how much of her time Worlds spent in and around water.

The reptilian look zikwa suggested they feed them, and Worlds within worlds was more than happy to oblige in that request. Hesitating only a moment, she dipped her head to catch a mouthful of bugs, then flicked her head forward, sending the bugs into the pool for the fish. "Come and get it!"
