Shrine's Corn Maze

Post by Tara de Draiocht »

Cruel was making her way through this Corn Maze, it was something she hadn't done before. Three options were given to her: Follow the carved pumpkins, Head toward the faint sound of music, or Explore the tunnel dug into the earth. Each sounded appealing. Hmmm.... the music was too haunting to ignore, so music it was! "Alright then, off I go. I hope something twisted- I mean interesting!" It wasn't long before Cruel found where the noise was coming from... crows. Coming closer Cruel noted the crows were eyeing her key from earlier. They did often tend to gravitate to shiny objects...and what would she do with it? Giving away the key was the best option.

Roll 3–4: "Head toward the faint sound of music."
Faint Music (3–4): A group of playful crows offers a choice: trade your key (if found earlier) for +2 tickets, or keep it and see if you're able to use it later.

Dice 3-Inner Sanctum (Final Choices)
Roll 1–2: "Climb the ladder into the watchtower above the maze."

"What a wild trip," Cruel snorted. Cornfields, haunting melodies, meeting crows, and now it was time to find a way out! "My kind of trip." Conveniently someone left a ladder for her to use! Score! Time to head out and explore more of the area~

Roll 1–2: "Follow the sound of rustling leaves."
Rustling Leaves (1–2): You find a random feather.

Fisheye was killing time more or less. She wandered into this booth and into the maze that laid in front of her. Finding a sound of rustling leaves, she wondered what the sound was. Along the way to the middle of the maze she found a random feather on the ground and picked it up.
Roll 3–4: "Head toward the faint sound of music."
Faint Music (3–4): A group of playful crows offers a choice: trade your key (if found earlier) for +2 tickets, or keep it and see if you're able to use it later.

As she reached the middle of the maze, she heard the faint sound of music. That was coxing and she found herself following that direction. Unfortunately, there wasn't much interesting down that path. There were some crows, clearly confused, offering her to trade with her. Key? She sang out in a specific key for an experiment before moving on from them.
Roll 5–6: "Choose the mysterious, fog-covered path."
Foggy Path (5–6): A hidden treasure chest with bonus tickets. (+1 ticket, or +3 if have a key from the Outer Ring.)

Upon reaching the inner circle, Fisheye followed the mysterious fog-covered path. It was straight forward as she followed the path rather than the fog. If only she had a key. Maybe she missed something in the outer ring? The crows and this chest gave her pause. She had found a feather, perhaps the crows had picked up a key there? They'd have to have forgotten, though.
