Smoldering Ember looks on as the oddly shaped fish jump out of the water to devour the insects Flop threw at them. He wonders if these creatures can be trained to do that to things they do not consider food--
hopefully they don't consider everything that moves as food.

Fun fact!: The
Megalonyx jeffersonii, a.k.a. the Giant Ground Sloth, stood about 9.8 feet (3 m) tall and weighed an estimated 2,205 pounds (1,000 kg). Just the immensity of it terrifies me (this part is just my opinion, not part of the fact).

Waves Under The Moon had a mission; a mission that had been appointed to him by In Harmony. The doe would be incredibly busy this year and didn't have the time to do the usual rounds, seeking out new companions to add to her family. This will be easy he thought.
But no, it would not be easy. Booth after booth had remarkable prizes! Animals he'd never seen before, oh so many of them. If Harmony were here, she would be over the moon, trying to enter every booth to her own exhaustion. This year it was his turn. He stared at the dice, a feeling of anxiety in his stomach. He needed to do good, he needed to prove himself.

RP: Broken Thoughts gazed down at the strange looking fish and her lips curled into a sneer. "Can I eat them?"

Dart wasn't sure this was going to be a good enough presentation for them but her favorite dish of the season was toasted chestnuts. She included some berries that she had foraged as well and offered them to the Ancients. "I know it's nothing particularly fancy, but these are some of my favorites." Smiling she stepped back.

This chilly weather is nothing new to Where the Cold Wind Blows. The scruffy totoma carried a branch of red berries to the zikwa. "There is nothing I like more than something sweet," he explains. "They make you bounce when you start your day." The totoma then began to chuckle. The snow is not that bad once you get used to it.

Fun fact!: The Dunkleosteus did not have teeth; in fact, it had armor and the armor near its jaws served as cutters. As they rubbed against each other, the opposing jaw blades acted like self-sharpening shears. These bones continued to grow as they were worn down by use.
