A giddy rush fills her body, starting in the pit of her belly and bubbling out. She's never felt this way before, and though a distant part of her is unsure about it, the rest of her is convinced this is how things should be.

The buck's blow hardly does anything, however, merely an annoyance that draws a growl from her as she shakes her head and clamps down harder.
