
Void Fern enjoyed kin-watching in the winter market. It was fascinating to watch kin about their business, see how the currents of conversation flowed, watch how opinion and friendship shifted over time. It wasn’t something that only ever happened at the winter market, but with so many kin present it was certainly the time it was most fun to watch what went on. She didn’t think of herself as a malicious or unkind individual- just one fascinated with others, and who preferred to watch rather than participate. She thought much and said little, mind constantly preoccupied and wondering. She had selected herself a quite comfortable stump and was watching the festivities with a detached sort of interest, considering potentially taking part in a couple of booths at some point down the line…
