[B] Cold stares (Vastness x Gloom)

It was innocent enough. Vastness was pregnant and she was fussy. She whined and whined until there was no one around so she went to find more unwilling ears until they, too, parted the sea to get away from her. She couldn't help herself. She was miserable, it was too hot, and she wanted the world to know. She was as pervasive as her namesake. And she was in a foul mood. She didn't care who knew. Swishing her too long hair back, she kicked a rock without a care in the world for where it went.

Gloom was knocked out of his reverie by a flying rock. And when he saw the clueless idiot who dared infringe on his quality time, he was livid. He was reminded of a geyser he once saw, sputtering forth such fury in a steady stream only to disappear and re-emerge later. His rage was latent and now it was bubbling to the surface thanks to this fool. She had long hair like Look-See but while their brightest start was well kept, this one was less so. She looked harried and as scatterbrained as his hair. He was going to give her a piece of his mind. Gloom stalked closer.

Vastness tried to remember the song she heard in the womb. When she mentioned the song's origins, other kin would scoff. "How can you remember that?" and she was met with derision, but she knew. She remembered. And so she hummed the same womb song for the ones growing inside of her. She was lost in thought and didn't care to see where the rock went or that another was coming her way.
