One by one, or in small groups, kin packed away their wares and winnings, bringing back with them so many new memories. Her clear blue eyes blinked down at them and she sighed heavily. There was a lot going on in the doe's mind.

She kneeled down, slipping her head under the strap of one of her loose baskets and lifting it onto her shoulder. This one was heavy with new seeds and produce from her trading. Set blinked at the second one that lay at her hoove, laden with gifts for the children and then out into the Swamp with its fresh blanket of thick, white snow. This was going to be a difficult journey.

"Well," She said to herself, "At least Sunshine said that my journey will have a happy end. Nowhere to go but forward."
