[B] Truth or.... [Blind Truth & Watch Me]
[imgleft]http://www.matope-swamp.com/images/blue ... uncert.png[/imgleft]Blind Truth was a very straightforward doe and she liked it when others were just as straightforward with her. So, when everyone's answer to 'where can I find a legendary?' was 'they'll find you' she was rather annoyed. Sitting around waiting for a legendary to appear didn't suit her, but neither did wandering the swamp aimlessly in the hopes of stumbling across one. In the end, she came to a very nice compromise: pacing around a small clearing anxiously as she tried to figure out what to do. How was she supposed to ensure her soon-to-be foals would have the best chance possible if legendaries were going to be this elusive?

Re: [B] Truth or.... [Blind Truth & ???]
[imgleft]https://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/imag ... ncert3.png[/imgleft] A bird had arrived and was watching her pace from its perch, occasionally ruffling feathers and preening. When finally it deemed itself ready, the bird lazily dropped from the branch and shifted right in front of her, bird into a brightly flamboyant Kiokote.
“Oh thank MotherFather, finally someone with sense!” He cried. “It’s so annoying when someone I’m trying to bless runs willy nilly all over the Swamp. I have a lot of other things I would rather be doing.”
This wasn’t an Acha but she’d hung around one spot and hadn’t made him chase her all over the place, so he would give her his very best.

Re: [B] Truth or.... [Blind Truth & Watch Me]
So completely caught up in her own thoughts, Blind Truth didn't even notice the bird until it was right at eye level, and even then it was only a brief second before bird became kin. She jumped back, startled by this unexpected visitor and even more unexpected transformation. It was several moments of confused staring and piecing thoughts together before the doe cleared her throat and tried to regain her composure. Head high, back straight, hooves firmly on the ground. She needed to look respectable. For. Some reason.
"Hello. You are..." She gave the buck a once over, "very clearly one of the MotherFather's chosen. Thank you for coming to me."
She bowed her head politely, glossing over the fact that she had not intentionally stayed in one spot to make things easy for him. "I assume you know that I am in need of a blessing then."
Right to the point as always.

Very clearly.
Watch Me preened. Well yes, it was very obvious. He had been given quite the blessing and nobody could look at him and not realize. Even a common Kimeti, whose sense of taste were often quite bland, could tell straight away.
“Ah but you are very welcome,” he said grandly. No preamble for this doe, clearly. And no surprises, thankfully. It was always such a chore when they were all ‘oh I’m going to have babies?’ after having performed the act that very often produced babies.
“Of course I know.” And since he was feeling quite magnanimous (and pleased he hadn’t had to fly all over the place), he added, “do you have any special requests?”

Blind Truth took a deep breath. Of course she had a request. She wanted to be prepared for this, so naturally she spent far too long thinking about what exactly she wanted for her new children. Just in case the legendary she came across gave her the option. Which he had.
"I do. I would like for my children to always be honest with themselves. If...that's possible." She wasn't really sure what the limits of a legendary's abilities were. "If not, then good health will do fine..."
It wasn't as interesting as her first pick, but at least it was a reliable request.

Re: [B] Truth or.... [Blind Truth & Watch Me]
“That seems rather boring,” Watch Me commented on her request. “Surely you’d prefer something more useful? Like beauty?” Then he shrugged, not giving her time to change her mind, since he had places to be and sure, whatever, honesty it was.
“May they be born of great health,” he yelled to the sky (unnecessary but nicely theatrical), “and always be honest with themselves and others too I suppose!” He paused for a moment and then added, “And if there’s any Acha in that lineage, you can add that too!”
Pleased with himself, Watch Me looked back at the doe. “You’re welcome.”

Re: [B] Truth or.... [Blind Truth & Watch Me]
Blind Truth's brows knit together as the buck called her request boring. She'd put a lot of thought into it. It was better than something like strength or.....beauty. But she held her tongue. He was doing her a favor, regardless of what blessing he gave. She should just accept it graciously and move on. And to his credit, he gave her the blessing she'd asked for and then some. The bit about Acha lineage was weird, but. Whatever. It was done. One less weight on her ever-growing-heavier body.
"Thank you." It was a genuine, albeit a bit flustered, thanks. She bowed her head deeply and....waited awkwardly for him to take his leave. It felt rude to just walk away.

Re: [B] Truth or.... [Blind Truth & Watch Me]
She made the right choice, as Watch Me would have been quite put out to just have someone walk away from him before he could make a flashy exit.
At her bow, he inclined his head nobley. “Farewell,” he said, stepping back a bit and then jumping, just to get off the ground, so that his transformation had him already swooping away as a bird.
Another job well done!
She could probably hear his very loud song far after he had flown from view.
@CelestialRequiem
official done!
