He'd shed the moth form he was so fond of and stretched his stag legs. It had been awhile since he'd spent much time in this form; he did so enjoy gliding on the wind's breeze.
Today, however, he had a place to be and a kin to meet if the way his feet rooting him in a northwestern pattern was any indication. And it was. He had spent a lifetime going in circles and squares and nowhere at all. To ever go some place meant it was important. And so he went.

This would be a dalliance between them, nothing more, but sometimes it was just he physicality between him and another that he needed and craved. He was grateful to have found someone who felt the same way.

There would be no honey today, or at least until he had blessed the fell—was there a term that embody a fellow and, what was the feminine form of a fellow anyway? Eyebrow knit, he continued on.
"If only we could all be mushrooms," he chuckled, amused at his remembrance of the Great Mushroom. Who needed male and female anyway.

He carefully made his presence known, in case the stranger was only talking aloud thinking they were alone.
anemosagkelos wrote:The feeling was stronger now and his ears flickered at the noise of a kin nearby. Ah, the stag smiled, "There you are, then."
He continued forward, feeling his nose drifting to the side, but shook his head to look forward. He had a kin to see and then he could look at the pretty little flower. Momentarily, he paused, wondering when he had become so interested in flowers but then who wouldn't be when they were such a delight?

But the seconds passed and there was no response or reaction to indicate that he was the one being addressed. So he tried to walk away undetected himself. Best to leave things be if he could avoid any sort of escalation.
He wasn't careful enough, however, as his hoof accidentally stepped on a twig and it snapped under his weight.
anemosagkelos wrote:Travels frowned, a real one this time, as he came upon the buck and watched him leave. He jumped forward, body disappearing as a moth took flight. The creature fluttered before settling down upon the kin's back. Now it didn't matter how far he went!
In front of the buck, the stag appeared once more, a pleased smile on his face, "Don't you want a blessing?"
