about A hardy doe who prefers the solitary life-style. The only living thing that is always by Hawthorn's side is Hindsight, her ramcat. She is, generally speaking, standoffish, caustic and rude, but once you break through that exterior (if you can), she's quite sweet... Notable for being a terrible mother to the great disappointment of her children.

Hindsight is Hawthorn's steady companion and probably the single living thing that she can claim to being in a "committed relationship" with. The ramcat shows the doe his unwavering loyalty and she repays him with her's.

about Soft-spoken and somewhat eccentric, Feverfew spends more time eating/searching for odd combinations of herbs than she does socializing. Feverfew is very eager to please and relatively meek. she doesn't have a lot of interaction with others outside of her teacher, Acorn Crop, and Stick-Paws. Also, she has a jealous streak.

foxglove a gift from her nephew/fosterling, feverfew has found many uses for it's venom and the jellyfish itself is unusually fond of all living things (to their alarm)

WOLF SKULL

the lone wolf that weathers the winter.

about He doesn't stand for idiocy and prefers his privacy. He's basically an old man.

naming In the long winter when the deer are scarce, sometimes the wolves turn to the Totoma for prey. And sometimes, in the long winter, the Totoma and the wolves fight in the snowbound land. Totoma are formidable opponents, dangerous ones too. But desperation drives wolves to do crazy things. And though strong and hardy, wolves travel in packs and Totoma travel alone.

Once, a nameless buck as white as snow was attacked by a wolf pack. It is said that he slew three wolves, injured two and scattered the pack. The blood stained his fur and horns so deeply, nothing could wash it out. And the territory that he marked as his own, the borders are said to be marked by the skulls of wolves.

Strider A wolf pup given to Flame by his apprentice, Riptide. When Riptide presented the wolf pups her own wolf had birthed to the tribe for her Pilgrimage, she left one out. Stern, but steady, the white and brown pup was given to her mentor. Young and curious, Strider can often be found at his master's heels - like a shadow.
