Re: [ORP] Poke 'Em On: Go!
He blinked in alarm as a wasp rose in front of him. Another bug, but this one was a lot more dangerous. He stood silently, letting the wasp make up its own mind about what to do next. He was a little too intimidated by the big bug, and so when it buzzed off, he was more than happy to see it go.

A jelly drifted by, bringing a smile to his face. It drifted out of sight before he realized he could attempt to catch it.

A rustling in the brush caught Oddly Enough's attention. A muskwolf! Oh, and it was cute. "Here, girl!" he said, enticing the animal to play.

Unfortunately, the muskwolf did NOT want to play with him. Growling, she bounded off into the weeds.

Disheartened by the muskie's disappearance, Oddly Enough barely noticed the octofurbody in the grass. A furry tentacle snared his ankle, and he yelped in fear. Time to look elsewhere!

Perhaps the water would be a good place to look? The place was crawling with hermit crabs- would he find anything else here?

He sure would! An absolutely gorgeous little fennec fox, dipping its head to get a drink. This time, he was quiet- he didn't want to startle the wee beastie. Instead, he whistled softly, hoping the high pitch of the noise would draw its attention.

"Easy does it," he muttered as the fox approached. "That's a good beastie, yes."

He knelt, bending closer to the ground as the fox stopped its approach. He kept his eyes low, not wanting to make contact and scare it off.

Unfortunately for him, the motion upset the creature and it fled!

Another jelly drifted into view. How did you even befriend those things?
