They're morbid- too much so, say their fellows. Those around them put off by their garden, by the daisies sprouting from the eyesockets of cracked and weatherworn skulls. Of course, even if they're made aware the bones were simply foraged for, a mere habit of vulture culture- and their owner thinks it's simply more striking to leave them as is than grind them down into meal to turn into the soil- that usually doesn't put them off any less.

But it's just who they are, they say. They've long accepted the only way to get over the transience of things is to accept it. Turn over a new leaf, turn over new soil, eventually return to the soil.
