Tiny Terror

This time, Worthy planned on taking it easy. Helping guide a lost Zikwa sounded peaceful enough, and while she'd had enough time for the pain of her injuries to abate, it hadn't been so long that she was looking for a taste of violence.

Needless to say, she was just as startled as the Zikwa when they turned on her, lashing out with a kick she was able to dodge. She lowered her head and charged in, hoping a solid movement would stun the Zik into calming down- or at least making enough of a dent they'd pause to listen.

...there. It was done. She watched sympathetically as the Zikwa cowered back, giving them a few moments with their bat before speaking up again. "I really wasn't lying... you've got friends looking for you. Now how about we get you back to them?"

Spiders were one thing. Thieves were another. And Worthy really couldn't blame the Zikwa after they'd had the chance to apologize to her-- they were used to being bullied and had understandably lashed out. Even their bat was blameless, looking only to protect its loved one. But liars... liars were the one thing that Worthy couldn't stand. If there was anything in this world she hated, it was a coward, a sore loser, who tried to revise the truth to better suit them... and she had been asked to help protect the virtue of another by giving this kiokote a hard-earned lesson.

"You've been spreading nasty rumours," she called out, "and it has to stop!"
