Many kin didn't understand him, because he always seemed so combative. Even for living in the shadow wof the Obelisk, it seemed that he found the smallest excuse to pick fights with others, sometimes without introducing himself first, sometimes without speaknig so much as a word. It took them some time to realize the truth: an awkward nature and an inability to fully understand others kept him from meeting their eyes, and meant that it was easy for him to pick a fight than to say hello.

Broken Bellow
As he breathes in, he can feel the squeak deep in his chest, the soreness, a dizziness that makes him wobble and sway on his feet. As he blows it out again, the thunderous sound of his bellow instead comes out as only a choking hiss, the air escaping through the hole in his lung to fill the space between his ribs.
