Life Story TL;DR
Beauty Past Compare had always been (rightfully, as she had thought) self-absorbed - gorgeous and talented in her esteemed opinion, the singer saw that she was a fine specimen of an Acha, especially after visiting her ancestral land, without giving much thought to her less delectable attitude, opinions and personality. In seeking shallow fulfilment with a beautiful buck whom she was rejected by, she had her heart broken and her terrible personality degenerated even more when she was told he just wanted to be "friends." Carrying anger to the mountains proved to be a mixed bag - on one hand, she was even more awful than before, on another hand, she found genuine virtue in herself when keeping her newfound friends alive, and forcefully beating the shard madness and negativity out of others. They got better; so did she. Invested in being more gracious and kind by reining in her worst impulses, now she's got the rest of her life to continue that journey...

Why Beauty Past Compare should be considered for Ascension: In fighting the really unacceptable parts of herself while continuing her self-improvement, Beauty Past Compare would be hilariously relatable to impressionable kin. Even so, she actively models and moves towards graciousness and other positive traits, while keeping (hopefully) healthy self-confidence and esteem. With a sharp tongue capable of sweet words, Beauty shows that change and learnt kindness can still be similarly valuable to natural virtue. She's happy to guide kin by telling them what's best for them. Heck, she can even sing it.

All's Well that Ends Well wherein Beauty is only mildly reassured by Shroud's enthusiastic answer as to whether she's a bad kin, but with grim self-awareness, seizes the small part of acknowledgment and hope that she can live up to his praise. (5pt)
