Curious Findings [Fiend x Streams of Silver]

It had been some time since Fiend and Goosebumps had come across this particular scent trail. It tugged at his memory as his nostrils led him deeper into the ravine. There were two trails, but one that was definitely familiar. Steadfast, they followed until the trails separated at the edge of the water. Pretty pebbles of various shapes, size and colors were stacked upright in a precarious tower, their smooth surfaces rapidly losing the familiar scent. As Goosebumps ventured off to check between fallen logs, Fiend raised his head to scout the horizon, looking for someone or something.
