Well-Suited's first memory... She always seemed drawn to the most unusual of tasks a Totoma could do, sorting herbs and doing tedious, repetitive work. The doe enjoyed it, and was good at it. "Suits me just fine," she always said to her tribe members as she worked, picking bones out of fish and managing tiny details. Forest Sacrifice's first memory... He was a strange lamb, with wide, knowing eyes. He was difficult to understand, and even as he grew this strange nature stayed. His mother wondered when he would get stronger, when he would join her in fighting and protecting their herd. He felt unknowable to other Totoma, and led by some other destiny he knew waited for him.
In his travels, he came across a small forest of dying trees. The forest called to him, begging for his help. His heart twisted and he knew he couldn't return to his old life. Taking a knee at the largest tree, he whispered a small prayer to the Motherfather and to this forest. "I will be your limbs, I will be your eyes," he said, vowing to take care of it, no matter what it took.
