Pet: Coral Tea Dragon 1
RP: After quite some time of slow and methodical staring, Where Night and Day Meet has finally found himself face to face with one of those strange coral-like tea dragons. His eyes trace over the dragon's form, taking in all it's colors, spots, flowing hair and twisting shapes.

1. They seem more interested in the snacks

The dragon, however, doesn't seem to particularly mind the prolonged and watchful stare it is receiving, and is happily digging into the snacks in front of it. The no-longer-buck is also quite content to simply continue examining the creature before him, taking in all the sights of it's movements and shifting hue. Before long the buck has almost become part the scenery, and the dragon has nearly forgotten his presence.

Sparkling Sunrise was so excited to meet more fun friends! Plus, there were tasty treats??? How could she possibly pass this up? The young woman had to contain herself as she ordered her drink. She could see a few animals scurrying around in the corner of her eye and she couldn't wait to meet them. After taking a seat in one of the cute chairs on the beach, she sipped her drink and tried to wait patiently for an animal to come to her. Just chasing them around wouldn't get them to warm up to her, she knew, but they were just so cute! At least she had this tasty strawberry boba.

As expected, when she stopped practically vibrating in anticipation of interacting with one of the animals and instead got distracted by her drink and the beautiful ocean view, she felt a little nudge on her leg. Sparkling Sunrise looked down and choked back a gasp. One of the lovely little dragons had come by and looked up at her with shining eyes. "Hello, little friend!" she chimed. Gently, she reached her hand down to the dragon. It sniffed intently, and she tried not to giggle at the tickling feeling. When the dragon seemed satisfied, she carefully reached to pet the little dragon. It arced it's head up to meet her, and she patted it on the head a few times. Their encounter was interrupted by another running over and tackling the dragon, and they were off playing in the sand near the surf.

Absolute heaven! Full snuggles!

Now that she'd had her first encounter, Sparkling Sunrise was a little more relaxed at the cafe. The vibes were immaculate and she could stare at the ocean rolling in all day if Spring Awakens let her. The strawberry drink with the brown sugar boba hit the spot in the strange heat of the tropical Winter Market they were having. She probably should be out investigating this phenomenon, but knowledge could wait a little while. While lost in though, Sparkling Sunrise did not see the green creature slowly approaching her.

Before she knew it, a green owlcat leapt into her lap and purred loudly. "Oh! Hello" she said, smiling at the familiar looking to her. She set her drink down on a coaster and reached out to the friendly owlcat. It leaned into her hand as she skritched behind its crests and under its chin. "Oooooh, you really like attention, don't you?" she cooed with a giggle. The owlcat was turning to putty in her hands and she took the opportunity in front of her. Carefully, she scooped the owlcat up in her arms and held it to her. When it didn't scamper away, she felt like she could cry from the cuteness. Her drink was just going to have to melt, she was going to hold and skritch this baby for as long as it would let her.

Loving the attention for about a minute, they steal your baked good and disappear

Eventually, Matcha the owlcat must have wanted to get some sun or a snack, because it wriggled a bit and Sparkling Sunrise set them down. She watched as they scampered away and sighed happily. The warm snuggle time really helped her out with a lot that was on her mind. Still not content to leave the cafe just yet, she approached the cupcake bar and looked over the options. To her delight, there were several mini cupcake options, so she could try several flavors. She added a vanilla, a chocolate with strawberry icing, and a blueberry with lemon icing to her plate.

As she walked back over to her seat, a purple owlcat enthusiastically followed. "Oh, do you want to hang out with me?" she called and sat back down. The owlcat trilled and hopped into her lap, purring loudly. "Aww," Sparkling Sunrise cooed and gave the owlcat a few pats. Reaching over the attention-seeking creature, she unwrapped her vanilla cupcake and moved it toward her mouth. Before she knew it, the owlcat reached up and bapped the pasty out of her hand. The young woman gasped in surprise and watched as it leapt down, picked up the cupcake in its mouth, and trotted away, mission accomplished. For a moment, Sparkling Sunrise watched in stunned silence, then burst out laughing.
