The buck, intently watching the creatures before him hears the doe speak and glances over, happily nodding before approaching. Moving slowly so as not to spook anyone, or thing, as his usually large size often startles even the most prepared. "I would be glad too!" He says, quite pleased and curious over these new types of Manta Ray, and as such happily joins the vibrant Kimeti in her endeavors, watches the fluttering Manta Rays for a bit longer before turning back to Coral Crowned.

"Have you considered attracting them with honey? If their appetites are more inclined towards those of moths or other insect-like creatures some flowers could also draw their attention. Assuming the Manta Rays diets are normal and it is simply their appearance which varies, you have some of what they'd normally eat around, in which case perhaps some small fish or maybe... you know, one of my tribe mates attracted a Manta Ray with their own glow, so maybe something bright? Do you know any kin who emit a glowing light? Or perhaps another pet or familiar that might hold an unnatural glow? One more blue in hue? If we find one..."

Sunrise Over the Waters continues speaking as he begins to search for the numerous items, and living creatures, he mentioned, talking about random tidbits and facts and he does so, sharing stories related (and unrelated) to the topics at hand while assisting the doe.

The buck, having escaped from being feed to the Manta Rays by virtue of heading in another direction once he heard 'glowing light' from his companion, soon found himself face to face with an honestly stranger sight. He was entranced by the hard work the little mice were putting into... whatever it was they were building. When Simple Joys turned to him, Beneath the Surface jumped, stumbling over a nearby root before managing to catch his feet again.

"Oh, yes, um, hello." The embarrassed kin managed to stutter before the Zikwa continued speaking. "Can I- I really? I'd love too! May-maybe I can, um, what could help..."

The Kimeti sat on the ground, gathering up some grasses with his teeth and hooves before settling down and quickly attempting to weave them together. His nervousness results in several failures before he manages to put them together to his satisfaction. Beneath the Surface has slide the grasses around each other, creating what would often be used for a basket of some type of covering, but he's not sure what the mice might use the flat woven grass squares for. Awkwardly handing over the pile of successes, and failures, the buck adds.

"If this helps, or you want it, here you go. I- I enjoy weaving so if it helps I can make more, in other shapes too. I can make some small baskets maybe? You don't need to kee-keep the failures if you don't want too, I just thought- maybe for materials..." He trails off, lightly tapping the ground with his hoof while he awaits the response to his present, shifting sheepishly all the while, though at this point most of his movement is due to excitement.
