Blossoms in Despair had ground the items she chose into a paste like substance, then boiled it in water. Once drunk, she felt her chin and cheeks itch uncomfortably. Apparently it had caused her to grow a full beard and cheek hair. She rubbed her chin and cheeks against a tree to try to sooth the itchy sensation. She hoped the buck was right and that it would wear off, after a while.

Silver Age fiddled with the potion workings and tilted his head when it poofed back into his face. A few blinks and he shook his head, feeling a new sensation. Then he saw hair coming down the sides of his face. he shook his head in more of a hair flip way, feeling all the hair move and feeling so confused by it all.

Of course she knew how to make potions! Swamp Magic was her grandfather! Messy knew she couldn't fail at this!
She pulled up a bowl and started throwing whatever caught her eye into it. Random herbs, a newt, berries, even an errant snail she found on the ground. Once she was satisfied with her goop, she smashed it until it looked like horrible slop.

Messy knew she would make her family proud. No matter what this potion would do, it would be amazing because she was amazing.

She slurped the mush. She immediately tried not to spit it right back out. It tasted...not amazing.
But maybe that was part of the process?

The kimeti swallowed, and wretched after.

When she looked back up she looked startlingly similar to her twin sister.

Oh. Well. Perhaps this could lead to...interesting shenanigans.

It was little surprise that Wicked Night was drawn to this particular booth in the market, once he saw the buck that was running it. He couldn't say that he ever remembered meeting him, but the resemblance he had to him was stunning enough that it would be a shock if they weren't related in some manner. Not to mention that he saw his sister (and maybe her twin?) somewhere within the booth, which only confirmed to him that there was definitely some family element to being drawn here.

Nonetheless, Wicked had a task he had been set to, and so he perused the stores of ingredients set before him before finally settling on a combination that he was familiar with. It was little work to put the potion together, and he smiled when he looked down at the completed mixture. He knew better than to take a drink though - that would result in a rather unpleasant stomachache that he wasn't quite in the mood to deal with. But perhaps he could get some poor, unsuspecting soul to taste the concoction... yes, that was an entertaining thought indeed.

What Potion Did You Make?: The process had been laborious. Hour after hour, Last Rain ran for ingredients, setting over the muck. Every scrap of effort he could manage was thrown into the mix. Fresh leaves, herbs... Anything he could get his hooves on. There was a manic giddy as he ran, back and forth, bringing his stock to the mix.

After what felt like an eternity, it seemed finish. The aroma of his potion washed over him. Last Rain giggled, and lowered his head to the shell to see what he had concocted.

"I don't think... It's doing anything..." He spoke, after what seemed like ages of waiting. Last Rain looked down- no fur out of place, no extra legs. Whatever fun the other kin were having, he hadn't managed the same.

Well. At least it was good soup.

7. Your potion causes sickness.

Sparkling Sunrise looked at the strange, swirling potion she'd made. The color seemed...off...but she still needed to know what it would do. What was the point of making it if she didn't see the process through? The young totoma carefully dipped down to drink the concoction.

At first, she felt like the potion might be a dud. Nothing seemed to have changed for her. Which, considering the results from others around her, might not be a bad thing. Right as she opened her mouth to speak, her stomach did a somersault. The bright doe stilled and her face took on an expression of dread.

Quickly, Sparkling Sunrise trotted towards a nearby bush and relived all the tasty snacks she'd eaten for the day as her stomach rioted against the potion. After a several moments, she quieted and took a step back. She found a soft spot to flop down on her side and groaned, "I don't recommend that mixture..."

Oh. This probably wasn't good. It certainly wasn't the outcome that Curse-thistle had wanted, but it was a gorgeous color of turquoise, tasted like raspberries, and he hadn't really bothered to make sure that he'd used noonshade and not nightshade. He'd been distracted by all the other kin moving around, making their own pitiful concoctions ... when he started to giggle, he didn't think much of it. Other kin were amusing. The giggles turned to peals of laughter.

Now something was wrong. Everyone was staring at him. Not that he cared, of course, but this was highly unusual. He couldn't remember the last time he'd so much as smiled genuinely, much less laughed.

He started to laugh uproariously, the kind that made him feel weak in the knees, left him gasping for breath. And he couldn't stop...

Five minutes after haphazardly tossing things together, Sleepy Time found himself blissfully slipping away into nothingness.

It was a liberating feeling, he decided, as he stared around at everything. He couldn't see himself, which meant that no one else could see him, which meant that he could curl up in a ball and nap without being interrupted.

Which was exactly what he did.
