activity: I am a huge advocate for Zen practice, so something I do a lot to relax and calm myself is Zen meditation. I find a nice, quiet spot to get into a lotus position and focus on my breathing, allowing myself to separate from the thoughts and emotions currently in my body, and giving myself a chance to take a short break from them for a while. This usually "reboots" both my body and my mind so I can better sort out my thoughts and emotions. It also has physical effects of bringing down your heartbeat and blood pressure, helping you naturally get close to your own homeostatic biorhythm.
