I HAVE AN IDEA Username: Astoria Preference list: r9, r10, r7, r4, r5, r2, r1 Your ray catching advice: use a fish to get them close and then jump on them
Adrift in the Sea took the path that branched out towards the beach, she was sea faring kin after all. As she pranced along she listed and gave a nod. "Sure, I'd be happy to try and help." After assessing the situation she gave her advice of a fat fish to entice them closer and then jumping on them to grab one. She wasn't sure it would work, but that was her best guess.

I HAVE AN OFFERING Username: Astoria Preference list: m9, m2, m8, m1, m7 Your mouse offering: Twig would like to offer them a berry.
Twig danced along the jungle path, she liked the beach a smidge, but she was more of a forest girl at heart. As she approached Simple Joys she smiled brightly. "A berry might work!"
I HAVE AN IDEA Username: Kalahari Preference list: r7, r5, r9, r1, r4, r2, r10, r8, r3, r6 Your ray catching advice: Easy Rhythm thinks for a bit, tilting her head this way and that as she thinks. "Well... I don't think they have very good eyesight, so perhaps you could weave some tough grasses into a net and... someone around here must have pets that are good at climbing! You could use those to help you hang the net up high enough that you could chase the rays right into it! I'll go see if I can find someone who has pets that can do that."
And with a pleased hum, she wanders off to go retrieve help for Coral Crowned.

I HAVE AN IDEA Username: Scaramouche Fandango Preference list: R7, R5, R2, R1, R8, R10, R6, R4, R3 How to catch a ray: Real Big Fish chewed the inside of her lip, looking at the situation. “Well, rays are usually fans of mollusks and uh, detritus. Like dead fish, they’re into that, if it sinks to the bottom. And they’re pretty voracious most of the time, but they’re flighty. You just have to be patient, and have something that smells good to them. Like this,” she said, gently holding a fish out for a ray to take.
I HAVE AN IDEA Username: Illusei Preference list: r9, r8, r2, r1, r10, r3 Your ray catching advice: Hold out a tasty shrimp and then give them lots of good pets
Having had some experience with manta rays herself, Waterfalls of the Sun was happy to help. "They're like sea-puppies really," she told the doe. "If you chase, they'll treat it as a fun game. What you want to do is to still yourself, offer something tasty (with your hands flat like this), and then stroke them gently along the wings."
I HAVE AN OFFERING Username: Illusei Preference list: m1, m6, m7, m3, m9, m8, m2 Your mouse offering: Taking Root looks about and finally finds a large, yellow tulip for one to sleep in. She takes it, roots and all, and replants it in a small pot.
I HAVE AN IDEA Username: lolternative Preference list: r5, r4, r9, r10, r1, r6, r7, r8, r2, r3 Your ray catching advice: Misty thought for a moment, lips pursing. "Don't try to race them, that's for sure. They're really fast and they can make a big splash -- which for the record, I think is cheating."
She huffed. "They like to eat - I think if you figure out what their favourite food is you shouldn't have any trouble."
I HAVE AN OFFERING Username: lolternative Preference list: m1, m2, m3, m4, m5, m6, m7, m8, m9 Your mouse offering: Be a Dear offers a bit of soft fur to the mice, to keep them warm in the winter.
I HAVE AN IDEA Username: doomsayer Preference list: r7, r6, r8, r9, r10, r5, r1, r3, r2, r4 Your ray catching advice: Leaves You Breathless thinks on the many hunting methods her mentor taught her growing up and which ones could be best executed in this area. Eventually, she decided on one method to give Coral Crowned. "You should get more kin to help you herd them into a secluded spot, like a bay or the bottom of a cliff. That way they'll run out of places to run away."
I HAVE AN OFFERING Username:doomsayer Preference list: m2, m5, m3 ,m9, m4, m8, m7, m1, m6 Your mouse offering: Leaves You Breathless offers the mice some Noni fruit. It smells odd and tastes much the same, but she's seen mice and other rodents flock to them before, so she hopes it will entice these smarter looking ones.
I HAVE AN IDEA Username: phoe Preference list: r6, r9, r1, r10, r7, r8, r5, r4, r2, r3 Your ray catching advice: No Escape, a seasoned hunter, glances down at the group of rays, and then seems to shrug. Aquatic life is not her forte, but she's willing to give it a try. "Why not come down from above? They don't seem like they've got good vision up top. Get something flying to swoop down over the water's surface and pick them up from above and behind. My spectral bat could help -- they definitely won't see that."

Rain Rot didn't expect to find herself to deep in the Winter Market, but she knew something had unfolded when Coral Catcher caught her eye. She pondered the other doe's problem for a moment and looked around. The rays were so energetic. Rain Rot's eyes widened as the idea came to her. "I think you're in luck. Whatever this warm weather is, hopefully it means the herbs are still growing? I find that lavender is quite relaxing, maybe they will too? Offer them some to smell, or even set some out, and maybe that'll settle them down?"
I HAVE AN IDEA Username: Astraea Preference list: R7, R8, R9, R1, R6, R10, R5, R2, R4, R3 Your ray catching advice: Waves Under the Moon tilted his head. Was that one of his sisters? Half sisters? Cousins? Hm...it was hard to tell, but they were definitely related somehow. He thought her teeth were pretty neat, but it sparked an idea in him. "Maybe if you didn't smile so wide, they would come to you easier? You look a bit like a predator and while they seem calm now, if you got to close, they might attack because they're afraid you'll eat them."
