[B] Eclipse is Coming

Post by subducting »

Eclipse wasn’t sure what to expect from his first clutch, but he was pretty excited. He wondered if they’d have his fluffy tail, or Winding Stone’s flicking, lizard like one? Would they be a mix of kimeti and acha? He was so excited he was barely concentrating on what he was doing from moment to moment.

[B] Eclipse is Coming

"If you think too hard," said Fierce Warrior, "you'll get a headache."

He had appeared seemingly from nowhere, out of the blue on this balmy, blue-black evening in the moment just before the sun truly fell and the stars took over. Standing beside Eclipse, he curled his long, spiked tail inwards, the end of it curling around one leg in an absentminded sort of gesture. Beside him - and, for that matter, scattered halfway down the way as well - a cluster of familiars of all varying shapes and sizes were bounding around. Two of them - suspiciously shark shaped - were wrestling violently near the edge of a small puddle.

"I heard your call," said Fierce, casting a smile over at Eclipse. "Did you need something?"

Eclipse blinked from his reverie and made a startled motion as he realised he wasn’t alone. The hillside was suddenly full of creatures- and next to him a striking buck. His alarm didn’t last though- this individual didn’t seem threatening. Potentially dangerous, but he was smiling, so Eclipse did as well, chuckling at the comment about thinking too hard.

“I can’t stop thinking about my children,” he sighed, wistfully, “and they’re not even here yet. I already feel like the time is going too fast! Isn’t that silly?”
