put a picture here
Somewhere in a broad swathe of autumn-flavored trees, there's a ring of underbrush with a noticeable inclusion of thin, white strips of bark mixed into the usual litter and undergrowth. At the center is an unusually thick and sturdy birch tree, the bark around its precisely incised, rectangular door gently peeling away in sheaves. The black marks against the white bark almost seem to form neatly ordered patterns that, if studied for long enough, one might be able to decipher - but out here, the mind continues to slide off of any solutions, no matter how much effort they put in. It seems like the only solution to this particular mystery lies on the other side of the door. Perhaps you should knock and ask to enter...The Memorarium
The Realm beyond the door is a place called the Memorarium. To put it simply, this place is a library of sorts - it's built and maintained to house information. The specific information stored here, however, and how it is stored, are somewhat unique. One ability granted to legendary kin is the ability to gaze back into the past through the eyes of others, to catch glimpses of possible histories. The catch is, of course, that these glimpses are personal memories of the kin that lived then, and are therefore fallible and subject to all the faults of living memory. What Wildflower Breeze seeks to do here is to gather as many records of the past as possible and sift through them for common elements, hoping to plot out a somewhat accurate record of things that actually happened. These deep memories are recorded, stored, and reviewed on faintly luminous crystals, which can be loaded into strange little machines that operate vaguely like projectors.
Recording crystals is obviously only something that an ascended kin can do, and access to some crystals may be restricted based on the recorder's preferences (very personal information etc), but some are able to be viewed publicly here, thanks to the special equipment. Your average kin can also contribute to the Memorarium by visiting the Barchives and writing or dictating information to the kin manning that space. Stories to tell around the fire are always of particular interest!
