On a small hill there sits a young evergreen tree and a lightly frosted ground envelopes the area all around, leaving a slight chill in the air. Although it looks youthful, the tree has a hardy trunk and full branches spanning the area to create a great home for the birds of the forest. The birds that call this tree home chirp loudly all around, singing their songs blissfully to the sky.

Towards the bottom of the hill, wrapped beneath the tree, you find a large burrow. It's big enough for even the largest of kin to get through, and instead of a leading into the darkness it leads to a door. The doorway has a small ornate bird at the top and all around the door glows a soft sky blue.

Sometimes you'll find two eaglehounds resting beneath the canopy of the tree. They regard you cautiously but allow you to pass without incident so long as the tree accepts you.

The Aviary

You find yourself in a large and beautifully ornate bird cage. All of the walls of the aviary are covered in glass, keeping the inside cozy enough to lounge around in during even the cooler mountain weather. In every cardinal direction, there is a balcony that leads outside.

The Summit

Sitting on the top of the summit of the mountain is this aviary. A beautiful view spans in all directions, revealing rolling hills and mountains with lush green forests all around. A river in the distance can be seen

The Mountain

The mountain range is vast in both size and environment. Many sides of the mountain are covered in snow, giving way to their high altitudes while the lower range is verdant greens and rolling fields.

Every one who arrives in this realm has taken on the humanoid form (humanoid, tail feathers, feathered ears) of the birds here. Everyone is capable of turning into a bird here. However, this event is only triggered upon leaving the aviary through the balcony doors, and you cannot change back unless you come back through the balcony door. Fortunately, everyone realizes this implicitly upon turning into a bird. You are free to choose.
