[COMBAT HELPER] Shark in the Grass [Shark vs. In The Grass]

Post by Zuki »

In The Grass shrugged, and slunk up to her partner. Some Acha she didn't know.
"I prefer hunting to battle, but here's what I've got--"
She charged, faked a jump to the left, jumped right, and spun. It felt like a good strike, firm contact. She'd follow up her advantage.

Grass's teeth caught the firelight as she grinned. Still got it

"So, uh. I hate to wipe the den with someone who I don't even know their name. What's yours?" In the Grass spun about to re-orient herself towards her opponent, dodge anything they might kick her way, and then repeated the same feint-and-kick again. It was a classic! Kin never expected you to do the same thing twice in a fight!

[COMBAT HELPER] Shark in the Grass [Shark vs. In The Grass]

Post by Anhelisk »

Shark had come here on a whim. The acha was really more of a lover than a fighter, but the kin around them had been asking for help to somehow bring back the sun, and there couldn't really be a better motive than that, could there? "Shark. It's Shark," the acha gently piped up, then hopped forward with a flourish of her hooves.

The first blow from In the Grass made contact, kicking the breath out of Shark before she was able to even think. She lashed out a second time, completely acting on instinct.

(Keeping 1,5,5. Rerolling 3 and 4)

This time, she barely made contact, and again, was slammed by the larger doe. Again, she kicked out, flailing without any strategy behind her.

[COMBAT HELPER] Shark in the Grass [Shark vs. In The Grass]

(Final score: Shark scores 20 vs 24. In the Grass wins!)

A second contact, but the acha felt bad. This hurt! Why would anyone do this when there were other, more peaceful options? If something had happened to her fins....

"I yield! You win!" she cried out, and promptly hopped away, looking for a stable source of light so she could see if she was injured.
