Never Known eyed the dummy in front of him. The dummy, being made of wood and only being a crude imitation of another kin, failed to eye him back but there was intent there. Never Known did not like that intent. It reminded him of his brother, before he started to bite.
With a well aimed (and rather angry) kick, the pile of wood collapsed before it could manifest into some creature and bite Never Known. Pleased with this, he wandered off, failing the whole time to realize that it was simply wood.
