Echoed Chorus certainly wasn't a fighter, he was much more a lover. But watching those that did like to fight battle each other was captivating to see. It was like to dancers moving fluidly together...but with some smashing and kicking and biting involved. Echo admired the way the sparring kin moved, strong and sure and graceful even if they were crashing headlong into each other.
He decided he wanted to give it a try and approached the training area to take a whirl up against the dummy. His style of fighting was really just dancing with a few little kicks and headbutts thrown in, but at least he was trying!
Oh yeah, this was not his strong suit. He was sure he looked great, but the dummy was actually kind of hard and was hurting his hooves as he kicked at it! Echo paused for a bit to reassess what he was doing, looking over at the actual sparring grounds to try to figure out how they moved. He mimicked a few rougher looking motions and tried attacking the dummy again.
This was hard work! Echo found his legs already aching from the constant hitting, but he felt like he wasn't doing too bad for his first try. He gave a little battle cry as he tried one more time to go at the dummy, the noises from the sparring area fueling him.
Unfortunately, the dummy proved to be too powerful an opponent. Echo felt a bit bruised from how hard he'd been trying to kick the dummy, but his pride certainly wasn't wounded. He'd known he wasn't a fighter going in, but at least he'd given it a shot!
