Another season, another clutch. Swamp Magic was proud if his brood, especially those that felt the call of the swamp and indulged in its magic as he did. Even now he felt the pulse of it in his hooves as he walked, leaving him calm and confident in his journey.
He didn't hurry, choosing instead to enjoy the passing of time. He knew that he would find what - or who - he sought, or he'd be found by that which sought him. The swamp worked in the way it wanted and influenced those in it as it willed - he believed anyway.

[B] Clutch Magic (Swamp Magic & ???)
Atone undulated to the side as the sun continued to slither across the sky. The rock she had been perched on was beginning to chill as the sun sunk from its throne atop the world in order to make way for the moon and she was intent on hoarding as much heat as she could in the last hours of daylight. It was a surefire way to slip into a soft trance of pause where her mind would empty without falling into sleep.
She was feeling restless, likely because of the knowledge that someone was in need and searching for a Legendary. It wasn't the only reason, of course. She had issues; even ascension had not solved those. A hiss instinctively bubbled in her throat as thoughts started to snowball down into the depths and she coiled up to stop the avalanche. The self-loathing could wait another day; she had an approaching parent to deal with first.
