Madly stood off to the side, listening to the various kin and events happening around him. There was so much tohear, though, sadly, it seemed as though much of what was happening had already started to close down. There was one booth, however, which caught his attention - a booth with seemed full of the hooting of owls, many of which seemed to be finding homes with other kin.

Curious, Madly approaches, and smiles winsomely at Perfect.

"Hello," he says, his voice surprisingly deep in timber, though smooth. There's a spark of something bright in the tone - a warmth in his greeting that feels genuine and bright. "What lovely creatures.... I've never seen an owl so up close, let alone so tame as these you have here. If you're not too busy, would you tell me more about them?"

Excitement sparks in his face, and he smiles. "My name is Madly, by the way."

He was suprised at the sight that greeted him, but he tried to keep it from his features. He hadnt the pleasure of meeting a kin of his species - let alone one with back scales - and his interest was almost on par with the other's apparent interest in the owls. Instead of persuing his interest to the point of rudeness he was only too happy to focus on the other's question.

"Oh yes," he replied with his own smile, "Very lovely to meet you, my name is Perfect." Again that small twinge of guilt at revealing his name crept into his voice. He glanced over at the owls and their new companions warmly, he was so very glad that they had kin to take care of them but was also sad of his new lack of their company.

"The owls are such wonderful and fascinating creatures. While they seem tame, it is only by choice. I have had my fair dealings with those that do not appreciate my presence and attempts at care." A rueful grin crept into his features at rememberance of being on the unfortunate side of their fearsome talons. "Is there anything specific you were wanting to know?"
