[BLESS] Sparkling Skeletons

Bone Voyage wasn't particular, really. She rather enjoyed how Facet sparkled and shimmered, though, and so it was little surprise that she was pregnant. A light dusting of snow was threatening to fall and it rather ruined her plan of where to lay her clutch. She'd chosen a soft bedding of thick grass that was rampant with flowers but now the blooms were wilting as winter warned of its arrival.
The doe ended up taking refuge next to a gryphon who also seemed to be awaiting what the weather might bring.
Lull in Sunlight was bored. There was plenty to do, in general, to prepare for winter, to further her studies, but she felt drained and ready for a long nap. She didn't much care about the acha that sidled up to her. She cared even less that the doe was pregnant. Birds and cats, however, had a tendency to pile up when they slept. And thus she ended up burrowing down next to the doe. Only to be unable to sleep because she knew it was heavy with children.
She huffed, clicked her beak at her annoying conscience and then, reluctant, gave in.
Behind the two, a ghostly mare appeared briefly, whispering, "Your children shall be brilliant stars that shine for ages with long lives and strong survival skills. And they will avoid napping mares of black and pink."
Pleased with herself, the mare vanished and the gryphon fell asleep with the acha doe.
