FEATHERFALL
Featherfall is kind of morbid. She enjoys finding corpses and bones, likes to research how long it takes for things to rot, and is focused on these things to the point of being a little socially inept. She, her daughter Water Runs Red, and a few other kimeti she's brought to her cause live in a huge cave system in the swamp. Featherfall doesn't ask or want for much -- but the one thing she DOES want, though, is to mate -- repeatedly -- with bucks with skeleton markings, to see how that passes down.
QUICKSAND
Quicksand would be a Tidewalker if she ever made it to the beach -- but, instead, she leads kin [usually young ones] on adventures in the swamp: agility training, climbing, and obstacle courses she builds herself.
WINDJAMMER
Windjammer was one of the first wave of kiokote to the swamp.
The youngest daughter of a successful stallion, she has tried very hard to be a diplomat and a successful people-person like her father, but she has an anxious and frenetic personality which sometimes undermines her attempts.

As close to truly nocturnal as a kimeti ever gets, Beetleshell sleeps under a mangrove tree during the day. At night, she begins her nightly task of finding insects, which she transplants closer to her haphazard tangle of undergrowth, arranged to provide homes for the insects. Her knowledge of the bugs of the swamp is vast and she presents it with a cold, almost clinical tone. An introvert to the core, she probably want to answer your questions about bugs, but she'll do it anyway (though with a bit of a sigh).

DOVETAIL
Ethereal, shy, and innocent, Dovetail is a kind-hearted but almost cripplingly shy animal lover. The trick to making friends with this doe is to make friends with her animals first.
BITTER HARVEST
He dreamed of his own death before ever taking a breath and woke up only to be immediately swarmed by the beetles of his mother's garden. As a foal, he wandered for days blind, weak, and nearly dead from insect stings: as a result, he wasn't entirely sure whether he was alive or dead for a long time. Underneath his bright coat, his skin is riddled with thousands of scars from bug bites and stings. Bitter Harvest is rather mad and not entirely tethered to reality, staggering around the swamp and constantly pondering his own mortality; as such, he has very few qualms about inflicting pain on others, or even eating carrion.

WATER RUNS RED
She knows a great deal about death and how best to preserve bones -- how to slough off skin and tissue from bones, how best to dry them, and how to identify a bone just by looking at it. She wishes that she did not have such strange knowledge, since it makes conversation awkward, but hopes it will come in some use someday. Until then, Bloodied keeps her head down and works industriously, never once allowing a complaint to pass her lips.
SERENADE OF WATER
Flow would have been born a fish if she'd had a say in things. Though born during one of the driest summers known to Matope, her underwater dream was full of cool water, moist sand and brilliantly-colored fish. Her favorite places in the swamp are those with an abundance of water, whether clear (her favorite) or choked with duckweed. On hot days she's up to her nose in it, and during rainstorms she's seeking the places with few trees to feel the downpour beat on her back. She's too active to let her love of water manifest as a longing if she can't find any; she simply roams around the swamp finding puddles and pools and eating the fish or shellfish she finds within them. On especially dry days and in the dry season, she carries around a small, smooth river-rock in her mouth, sucking on it to taste the waters it came from.
FLINT
Prone to brooding, handsome Flint has an excess of sharp words and quick, angry outbursts. He is the latest watch taken on the beach; it is common to find him standing with his hooves just at the tideline, watching the surf roll in, frowning at the horizon. Woe betide anyone who asks Flint what's wrong in those times; he is just as apt to lash out with hooves and teeth as a cutting remark designed to hurt. He's not ALL bad -- just mostly awful. Since growing up and leaving the beach he has mellowed, but no one does anger quite like Flint.
THUNDERSTRUCK
Thunderstruck denies herself what few creature comforts are to be had on the beach in search of inner peace and balance. Despite her lean frame, seemingly too petite and delicate to put in hard work, Thunderstruck is a surprisingly strong sort.
Stern, authoritative and dour Walks Without Rhythm was always hard to find: since ascending to Legendary, he has become even more of a hermit. Despite that, he is an extremely capable hunter and survivalist, and if his ribs show and his coat is a little thin, and his hooves cracked ... it is made up for by the keen intelligence in his blue-on-blue eyes. He is a bit more cautious and decisive than swamp-born kimeti, more apt to strike first and ask questions later. Wanderers onto his territory are offered what meager hospitality he can offer, and then shown back out nearly as soon as they've caught their breath. He never explains why, and very few kin have ever managed to crack his outer shell.
Not that anyone has come to him for a blessing, but Slide will not bless mushroom-influenced clutches.

CATCHING FIRE
Catching Fire prances about the swamp in something of a high gear: he is constantly moving, and something of a contact juggler, bouncing river-rocks or pebbles off of his nose to then kick it with his hind hooves, batting it off of his tail -- he is always in motion, and frenetic motion at that. An unkind word has never passed his lips -- with that being said, he is not known to have entirely sane notions, either. Catching Fire is sweet, friendly, and always willing to lend a hand, a story, or a song,but he may be more than a little daft.

CHOKECHERRY
A handsome ne'er-do-well, a flirt, a playtoy -- and a bit of an idiot, Chokecherry has no conception of how much is too much and will happily gorge himself on anything (sex, food, sleep) until it's too late. More than once he has skirted death because of it. He fails to see how anything can harm him. He never gives up.
He will also happily defend his siblings and family to the death. If anyone has a differing opinion of them he is pleased to simply run his point into the ground until they give up.
