There was no mistaking the constant need to move, the constant need to pee, the constant flash of irritation that she was in this situation at all. He wasn't that attractive and why the hell did she have to deal with all the oncoming pain and terror? Motherfather, why couldn't little ones just pop out of rocks. . .

[imgleft]https://matope.pixel-blueberry.com/imag ... ncert4.png[/imgleft] "The pain doesn't last," Giveforward supplied sweetly after a moment of quiet. She'd been fluttering around these two for days now. She'd tried approaching the totoma but he seemed to hide in sleep whenever his companion grew irritated. After the second time, she'd started pressing her small songbird body against his fur to see if he was breathing. He played dead very well!

The doe tensed, eyes wide, as she looked for the voice but they were quite alone here. Except for the songbird. It'd been following them and she'd started wondering if the totoma had a pet.

"I don't think I'd be a very good pet," the translucent form of the mare humored. "My sister remains surprised that I haven't been eaten yet though." She wasn't even sure if she could be eaten but she hadn't found the right caiman to try it with yet. Or at least the children and her sister tended to steer her away from the attempt.

Vanishing Depths stared, "No one told me hallucinations were a part of this," she whined softly. Pregnant, have kids. That was all anyone had bothered to supply her with on the idea.

"Oh no, no," the mare quickly started, "I'm a Legendary come to bless your children!"

"A what?"

"A Legendary, picked by the Motherfather, to bless expecting parents."

"I'd rather just not be in constant need," the doe sighed.

"I can help with that, too," the mare grinned. She trotted forward, allowing herself to become solid as her birdself vanished. "But first, what do you want for your children?"

Vanishing Depths frowned. She hadn't thought too much of the children themselves. They'd be tiring and into everything and terrible and lovely all at once, she supposed.

"I'm usually not like this but this is harder than I thought," the doe apologized.

"You're doing just fine," Giveforward rebutted kindly.

"I hope they don't wallow. Once I'm uncomfortable, I can't help falling into irritation. I don't know why he's still around. All I do is complain."

"Nonsense. It's not easy carrying little ones but they'll be happy and healthy and very adept at optimism," she blessed before curling up on the doe's other side. "Now, you rest, and I'll take your pain away for as long as I can."

Vanishing Depths hadn't believed it but as soon as the pain as abated she'd found her eyelids falling shut and her body going limp in respite. Giveforward didn't mind. That's what she was here for after all.
