Watch Me was wobbly.

The morning (or was it afternoon?) after a big show was always a bit hazy. It hadn’t ended with the last act but had spilled into a massive party with many a potent brew. There had been a lot of loving and laughter.

But now he was feeling his regrets as he weaved his way over the limbs and bodies splayed willy-nilly about the clearing, desperately in search of water.

Perfect Star toddled happily at his heels.

She barked with high-pitched enthusiasm.

Watch Me felt it all the way through his skull. He winced and nearly stumbled.

"Sssh," he begged.

Watch Me did not want to be talked to right now but this was Rouge and so he stumbled to a halt and offered a weak smile.

“What?” He croaked, staring blearily past her as if expecting the doe in question to be standing there. “Was I? Probably. Maybe. There were a few...” Does and bucks.

His tongue felt thick and dry.

“Actually, yes. She was very nice.”

The memory was hazy but it was a good one.

Perfect barked. Nobody was paying any attention to her. =(

Jelly. She was cute.

"Whoah, big boy," she staggered over, trying to shoulder-check him playfully, and completely missing, "you done gone did it. Motherfather, hear my - ergh, my head - may his kids be bright and - urgh whaddya urrrghh - bright...for the deed he did last night. Alright that's good enough."

And then she stumbled past both Watch Me and Perfect to dunk her whole head into a puddle.
