Under a canopy of tall trees, off the beaten path, is a small gathering of structures made of soft and colorful material strung up to surrounding trees with vines and held down by wooden stakes nailed into the ground. The material they are made of seems to waver between being here and not here as they wave and billow in the wind.

These structures stand around a central clearing where upon a stump a lone Kimeti buck as colorful as the structures around him moves animatedly as he beckons to all who pass by.



"Come one, come all! Observe this assemblage of spectacle brought to you by yours truly! I am the Greatest Show, and within these big top tents as I call them, is my Season of Shows!"

"Worlds beyond our own, creatures of all shapes and sizes enjoy presentations, performances, and acts beyond our comprehension! Care to watch? Or perhaps, you care to join the show!? Maybe something or someone will come back with you for your efforts! Witness wonder! Undergo upheaval! Experience exhilaration beyond the norm! Come and see the Season of Shows!!!"

Welcome to my first ever booth, hosted by one of my loudest and most animated kin, The Greatest Show!

In each of the big top tents will be AU settings where your kin can take on different forms and watch or participate in a different kind of show.

I've assembled a modest pool of kin and pets (with many, many thanks to HuniPi, Starrydance, Beejoux, and rexcorvus) and have concocted a series of activities and attractions which I will reveal every week over the next month wherein I will be giving them away as prizes!

The Greatest Show jumps around the clearing, showing off the Big Top tents to any who would care to come and look.

"You need not participate inside the tents, but these worlds beyond our own yearn to visit to ours as well! Maybe by crossing over, you can bring home a friend!"

First off is a chance open to everyone just for visiting!

One of the prizes on offer is an unedited semi token.

Every day that you visit the booth, you may roll a d1000. If you'd like, in the same post as the roll, you can RP a little bit about your visit.

First to roll a 1000 wins a friend to bring home! Please quote me in the roll post when this happens.

If at the end of the month, no one has rolled the 1000 yet, the person with the highest roll wins!

(In case of ties, there will be a simple roll off between all parties involved at the end of the month).

The Greatest Show hops and twists in the air as he guides you towards the first of three Big Top tents: a red mass of billowing threads that sparkles in the sunlight. From inside, you hear lively music and the rollicking noises of an excited crowd.

"This first attraction is one that features incredible balance, synergy between animal and handler, high flying stunts, and precisely timed maneuvers--all brought together in one show to astound and amaze. Step into our first show--the exciting summer circus!"

For this week (December 1 through 8.) you may participate in the first activity to win the lion pet prizes!

For this activity, your kin's AU will be participating in some high flying circus performances! You will be playing the NES game Circus Charlie through a browser-based emulator I will provide. You may play the game as few or as many times as you'd like. You can do some practice rounds to get the rhythm of the game down too. You can even give it a try and come back to it again as many times as you'd like throughout the week, changing your submission as appropriate. The game has multiple levels, so the longer you can keep playing, the higher your score at the end will be!

The primary objective is to submit a screenshot of your GAME OVER screen with your highest score. The three highest scorers at the end of the week win the lion pets!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Fiddle with the controls to your preference before you begin the game. The directionals and the jump button are the most important. Also, the GAME OVER screen at the end will not stay for very long, so please be prepared to take a screenshot of it quickly so you don't lose record of that high score!

The Greatest Show rolls on the ground and jumps high into the air, bounding off of a nearby tree trunk and executing a number of spins and kicks before landing gracefully in front of the second of three Big Top tents: a blocky structure covered in black and orange semi see-through material that seems to slick away any moisture and absorb the heat from the rays of the sun. From inside, you hear the riled up roars of a massive crowd, lively entrance music, the occasional counting up to the number two, and occasional chanting of some considerably unsavory cheers and insults.

"This next attraction energizes the blood and rouses the spirit of all who see it! Competitors covered in colorful markings, masks, and outfits battle it out with fast maneuvers and complex stunts! High flying and high intensity acts of athleticism and showmanship are pitted against one another to decide who ends up on top and who ends up flat on their back in the ring! Welcome to the next show: the W.o.W-- Worlds. of. Wrestling!!!"

For this second week (December 9 through 15) you may participate in this simple activity for raffle tickets to win the pompom spider pet prizes!

For this activity, your kin's AU can be in any form; humanoid or animal, and will be competing in the ring against large spiders sporting colors on their back of famous masked wrestlers!

All that you have to do is fill up the form below with a description, link to a video, gif, and/or image (in any combination) of what you imagine your kin's signature wrestling move is! You may enter up to 3 kin this week and each post will be one entry towards the raffle at the end of the week.

The Greatest Show pops out from a nearby bush, wearing accessories from the different booths available this winter market. He twists and spins, performing a dance that screams out "follow me!"

As you trail him to the back of the clearing, you see now with an active passageway, a tent made of plaid material interwoven with leaves, crushed thin metal container, vines, round head coverings with a lip, flowers, and patches of denim. From inside the tent you hear ethereal whispers followed by canned laughter, foley sounds followed by odd sounding applause, and music performed by a live band. The Greatest Show motions for you to enter.

"This next attraction entertains the masses beyond those seen by the performers! A world manufactured to keep the attention of an audience and tell a story, usually in thirty minutes. A story close to reality so that those watching can relate to it, but filled with enough hijinks and drama that those who see it live vicariously through the lives of the performers! Remember as you watch or participate that the beings here are alien to our world and their behaviors and actions might not make sense to you. Regardless, let the applause be your guide as you enter Dryad Redneck TV!!!"

For this final week (December 26 through January 1) you may participate in this RP activity for raffle tickets to win the dryad acha kin prizes!

For this activity, your kin's AU will be in humanoid form dropped into a sitcom where dryad nature spirits lve and experience redneck hijinks and drama!

DISCLAIMER: "Redneck" is a colloquial term often associated with negative stereotypes as Media and TV frequently perpetuate these misconceptions. I am well aware that people may not actually be like this and that my understanding of the subculture might be shallow and ignorant. I mean no offense in using these depictions and situations. I just want to make a fun fusion of the concepts as an RP exercise.

All that you have to do is roll a d6 for your RP prompt below where your AU kin will be acting with one of the dryad acha in a surreal scene. Play out the scene as though you are acting in a TV sitcom, adding as much or as little detail as you'd like, and end the scene either with the resolution of the conflict, solution of the problem, your kin trying out a catch phrase, creating a misunderstanding, or whatever other sitcom TV trope you can come up with!
